Honestly i never rlly felt that connected with the indian / desi side of my ever since i was little. I used to watch foreign cartoons, didn't have much friends and was mostly raised on the internet (like ofc i wasn't completely detached i used to watch chhota bheem and motu patlu for a while, disney series and stuff) but as i'm growing older it's like i'm losing more and more interest in indian produced media. It's not like it bothers me that much anymore as it used to last year but yeah sometimes insecurities come up when I'm talking to my peers

I know one of the major talking points when people lament about having minimal breaks between their exams is "oh at least they will be over early" and I get where they're coming from, but...
What if I don't want them to be over early? I would much much rather have a longer time to prepare and have summer break a little later. I feel like the time when we're studying for an exam is also a deeply important phase of life that you can't just brush past. It actually feels pretty good. I, personally fix my sleep schedule during exams, have breakfast, and have actual fun studying. All of which I can't do on a time crunch.
And also, this mindset just reinforces the negativity associated with exams. As if they're just a burden and nothing more.
There's an inherent calmness about exam season, especially as someone who lives on campus. There's less chatter. People usually study in the night so the mornings are peaceful and quiet. There's something so communal about exams. I love going to my friend's dorm to discuss something and then dance to just dance version of Moskou to have fun. I love going out to grab an ice pop with my friends while we beat up anyone who tries to talk about it after the exam. I love going to @whatthewatergaveher's room and stay there for two hours explaining playlist's to each other.
