when i saw this for the first time, my heart shattered. i could feel my heart aching to brush his hair behind his ear, kiss his forehead, and tell him that a dad doesn’t love — a mother does. and he has a wonderful mother who loves him very much. just because he’s older, doesn’t mean he doesn’t have feelings.

The sad part is, at the part of that video where ashton and Luke are asked a question about their dads, as luke answers, ashton just looks like this and mumbles, “I can’t.” It’s heart breaking

He looks as if he is going to cry, this makes me so sad

And you can see his jaw clench and his nostrils flare. That’s something that happens to me when I’m trying not to cry and I know mention of my biological dad (who also left) used to really hurt… I just want him to be happy and okay :(
