For the midnightmedia au , since Val and Vel are presumably the main antagonists for the story (and season 2.)
Does that mean the AngelSpy plot line still exists in the au? But this time, it's either Vox or both of them at the same time?
Because I can see at the end of season 2, Alastor starting to become more open and vulnerable towards Vox and warming up ath the idea of a more close relationship with him.
Only for Vox to run away at the finale because he completely lost all of his autonomy, and he's scared he might do something that will ruin once again what he has with Alastor.
So this time, he's the one who runs while Alastor is left behind...
Also, the idea of Husk and Alastor bawling their eyes out at the bar after the finale. Because both of the people they care about left them is both sad and hilarious at the same time and it can't leave my mind 😭😭🤣
Yes, Valentino and Vel will be the antagonists! I’m actually looking forward to it a bit. Since pretty much everything I draw is very Vox-centric, I’ve missed the chance until now to portray the two of them as truly evil (which is fully on me!). I prefer the three of them as friends, but I couldn't find a way to justify that for this AU, the power imbalance is just too great! But in every other AU of mine, the Vees are together as they should be, even in *Cannibalmedia*, they get along in their own twisted way!
Vox is kind of a spy in a way but it's not conmected to why he'll leave Alastor later on (which yes, will sadly happen, at least temporarily!) He offers to keep an eye on Angel while he’s at the hotel to keep Val appeased but he doesn't actually tell him anything useful, it’s just a tactic to stop Val from actually going as far and attacking the hotel in a fit of blind rage. He only gets suspicious later on because Vox starts spending so much time with Alastor again, which makes Val jealous because now he feels like he's losing both of them! (Vox isn't a fan of the whole redemption thing, but he knows Angel needs space from his work, so he tries to ensure he gets it.)
It takes a while, but Alastor actually opens up more to Vox after Vox shows his vulnerable side first. Alastor fully expected to find it annoying or even inconvenient, but surprisingly he dosen't, it just feels good to have Vox around again. And the more time they spend together, the more he recognizes his old pal, and the more he sees Vincent in him. Because of their different dynamic in this AU, it’s easier for both of them to reach out and admit they missed each other, which makes it all the harder for Al when he's the one being left behind later on.
Oh no, I can picture it too, and it’s not too far-fetched given what happens! Alastor, Husk and Cherrie will end up becoming friends because of all that is going on, im telling you! I’m going to put this poor deer through all the character development! He'll have to deal with emotions he didn't even now he had!!
