One day I'm a real tough kid who can handle their shit, the next, I'm too soft for it all

i feel like i usually fixate on a couple of songs when taylor releases an album but this time there are 31 songs and i'm obsessing over at least 12 songs at the same time

no because i’m so obsessed with this album. not in the way that i’m like “oh these are my favorite songs ever” (tho some of them are). but in the way that ttpd is such a beautiful piece of art. you can tell it was made for her peace of mind. it’s honest. raw. real. it makes you think. it makes you uncomfy. it makes you feel alive. and that’s beautiful in my opinion.

i dunno man it’s kind of fucked up that the new year starts straight after this one finishes. can’t we have a break. why does it have to be so relentless
