Business Ties. || Woobin & Krystal
He chuckled at her honorific’s and he shook his head, shaking her hand firmly but gently. “No need to call for honourifics. Just call me Woobin, or whatever.” Looking over the young woman he traced his lips with his tongue. She was an idol huh? She’s going to think she’s perfect isn’t she. “I’m a fan of you and your group.” he said politely as he turned back to pick up the thick script in front of him, spinning his chair to face her. “Before that, what type of actor are you? Because we all different, in styles and…” he waved his hand around in a circular motion.
Waiting for her answer he flicked through the paper roughly, a smirk coming to his lips before a chuckle escaped them. “A lot of skinship, are you okay with that?”
"Adaptable," she said sharply, responding to both of his questions. Her gaze remained on his for some time, her eyes cold as always. Moving her attention to the director, they talked for a little while about the plot line and their characters. Listening attentively, she made sure to make mental notes in her head about what they were going to do- and what she was going to do with him. From her Americanised mind, there was no problem with kisses or skinship. She had never been easily uncomfortable, no matter what they needed her to do. It was just work anyways. Though his attitude was detestable, she had met worse. He was a small fish in her large pond. Krystal looked at him once more, realising his handsome arrogance had both charm and appeal. It wouldn't be that hard.
Other actors and actresses entered the room, and Krystal switched every so slightly to kindness, making sure she called them all 'sunbae-nim' and treating them with the utmost respect. Their cookie-cutter responses didn't bother her, for she could see sincerity when it stood in front of her. The cast sat down and began their reading, flipping through the pages of the first episode. Krystal, it seemed, would be more than likely playing herself. Her character was somewhat mean, somewhat spoilt- the character even had an odd sense of charisma that contained coldness and a heavy heart. Though her face didn't show it, Krystal was glad that she had received this kind of character. It seemed to suit her well.
She listened attentively as they explained the love story between herself and Woo Bin. She showed no change in attitude as they told her that Woo Bin would the character who 'melted the ice' and 'broke down her walls'. Though the story was interesting, Krystal couldn't help but internally roll her eyes at the cliché. It was nothing she hadn't seen before, and she was sure she would play the role well. She was, indeed, playing herself- sans the falling in love aspect. Krystal looked back at Woo Bin, wondering what expression would stud his handsome but arrogant face. Curiosity lingered in the irises of her eyes, and there was a small speck of interest in her eye to his reaction.
After the somewhat interesting encounter, she opened the thick book and looked over her parts. It surprised her to see that she would be doing a voice over at the very start, at the beginning of the episode. Taking a blue highlighter from her back, she found her lines and took small notes when her mind replayed the director's instructions. As the rest of the cast focused their attention on her, Krystal read her lines diligently, her voice changing slightly to match the one of the situation. It was a small passage on her life, and of course, love.
