To answer your question, I'm totally okay with people writing alternate endings for my fics, or even creating stories inspired by them.
Writing is a really fun hobby for me, and if something I've written inspires someone else to create their own work, I'm always happy to support that. The idea that my fics could spark someone else's creativity honestly makes me really excited!
The only thing I'd ask is that if you're writing something directly based on one of my fics, like an alternate ending or an alternate version of the story, you give credit and mention the original fic somewhere. If it's just a story that's inspired by something I've written, though, then I don't really mind whether I'm credited or not.
So go for it! I'd love to read it too, honestly. :D

Instead of studying for a test I have on Monday I decided to draw this yesterday :)
It’s pirate!grian from @midnightghost007’s ao3 fic, Every Horizon Beside You! It’s really good you should go read it if you see this :)
But anyway I just found it yesterday and when I got to the section describing his new outfit I was suddenly struck with the need to draw it. So I did :) don’t ask me where this art style came from it was the abyss also this took like 2 hours bc I kept changing things
Here’s the outfit section (the writing in this is honestly so good I love it all especially the character descriptions? Really really genuinely so good) that made me stop what I was doing so I could draw it bc it was just such a striking, vivid image!
And some notes about the design!
- I gave him some scars on his hands and face bc he is a pirate after all, but I included two of them on his neck to mimic gills when he’s in his human form! He’d also have more on his torso bc he has gills there too I’m pretty sure
- his eyes aren’t completely black, but they are a dark purple like the ocean’s abyss pulling you in
- some of his features would be ever so slightly off-human, like slightly pointy ears and teeth, and his skin would probably be cool to the touch
- the watcher symbol is a faceted gem/amulet on the chain around his neck! He hides it under his shirt tho but I still wanted to include it I wonder where it came from (I know where it came from bc I read the fic 👀)
I might do a more refined piece of his design at somepoint bc I really love the outfit! And I do plan on drawing siren Grian at some point (maybe also the mean gills in this au I really love them too)
DUDE I've been reading through your pirate x siren scarian fic and am absolutely loving it, so I checked your profile to see what else you've done and it turns out that not only have I read most of your fics but they're some of my favorites?? Permits and Promises is so so so good, and your Hotguy x Cuteguy Christmas fic is one of my comfort fics and one of my go-tos if I want to read an identity reveal (I've read it so many times it's not even funny). Seriously, I love your writing!
