putting on a strong facade too fast and too soon is hindering your pathway to recovering and healing. be depressed and then express it. cry, and then journal it. cry, and then talk about it. cry, and then make a playlist to validate yourself. get angry, and then use that anger as power to get out of bed. get angry, and then affirm yourself of your inherent and evergrowing worth. we feel the things we feel to feel them and let them pass. the best we can do during heartbreak scenarios is feel, feel, feel and then use the very power of those emotions for better actions toward yourself and your life.
