i have an idea for an AU: The Despair Kids. it's similar to your Futuristic Four Villain AU, but it has a few differences
This AU includes Riley from Inside Out, Hiro Hamada from Big Hero 6 & Meilin Lee from Turning Red
Their backstories are different from the ones from your Villain AU, in that they became villains from a tragic event and finally giving in to the despair rather than being raised by the villains, hence the title
The only one trying to stop them is Meilin Lee

Abilities/Equipment: control of the Microbots, Mind control through motor control neuro headbands
Not feeling satisfied with Yokai's defeat since it wouldn't bring back Tadashi, Hiro decided to don the mask of Yokai and took the medical chip out of Baymax before proceeding to brainwash the rest of BH6 via motor control neuro headbands just to serve out his revenge story. San Fransokyo plummets as a result of the new heroes-turned-villains. Hiro finds himself overtaking both the city, and the minds of his friends, as all of them slowly fall to forced corruption
Abilities/Equipment: Music based abilities via Guitar (Think hypnotism or inducing sleepiness)
Miguel managed to escape the land of the dead, but wasn't able to save Hector in time, it didn't help that when he ran back home to try and get her mama coco to remember her father, Elena broke the guitar before he can to her and since he went missing for all night, he was grounded as a result. few days later, mama coco had recently passed away, never knowing who her father was. grief stricken by what happened, Miguel started to develop resentment towards his family for everything. eventually one night, his parents found that he had run away from home once more, and this time he didn't come back. they tried to get help from the authorities but to no prevail. Miguel, now with the salvaged remains of guitar was determined to make those who disregarded Hector's memory
Abilities/Equipment: Ice creation (she's equipped with a liquid nitrogen pack that causes the ground around her the freeze, allowing her to skate) as well as her skills in hockey
set after an alternate ending where anxiety won. Riley managed to get into the Firehawks which shouldn't been the happiest moment of her life, except she didn't feel Joy, instead her mind was filled with endless scenarios of failure spinning around in her head like a song playing in the background. Panic attacks had become a regular occurrence for her, and the stress of the game, the need to live up to other people's expectations, and her studies were all taking their toll. eventually, it all came crashing down on her one game, when she ended up sustaining a devastating injury that prematurely ends her hockey career. Riley’s struggle with her mental health after that had gotten worse, which made her parents really concerned. however, when her parents went to check on her that night, they were shocked to find she had disappeared without a trace. coincidently, a few days after Riley went missing, news began circulating about a masked criminal wearing Hockey gear running around the city, it's said that this hunter would hunt down young hockey Players, injuring them to the point where they're forced to end their careers early. no one knows who this hunter is and why, but whoever they are, they clearly want those around the feel the pain he felt. and currently his next target is his biggest. the captain of the Firehawks, Valentina Oritz
Abilities/Equipment: Enhanced Agility & tracking skills via Bolt
She's not a villain by Choice, but rather one from unfortunate circumstance. she got into an accident during filming that not only left her face scarred but also left her memory impaired, the only memory she can remember were ones with his dog Bolt. when she first woke up, Penny along with bolt went to look around the place she was in, discovering that she was in the hospital, here she saw some of Calico's soldiers (who were really actors still wearing the outfits) with some doctors and her mother right next to them. since her memory was erased, she perceived them to be dangerous and hid before quickly running back to her room. the next day, the doctors came to check on her only to discover that she and her dog were gone, a widespread search was initiated not long after, but sadly, they couldn't find her anywhere. as for Penny and Bolt, since that day at the hospital, they were now fighting to survive out in the streets everyday. to Penny, she sees everyone as an Agent of this mysterious Dr. Calico person, wanting to take her and her Dog away
Abilities/Equipment: Forcefield creation, Electricity manipulation & Invisibility
Her family had it rough the last few days, Bob had just lost his Job when the Company he worked at became the target of controversy, forced to move away, and her parents just had their third kid with Jack-Jack which already put even more pressure on their shoulders. Violet wanted to help in some way. so, using her invisibility, she resorted to robbing banks just to support her family. however, because this went against what her family stood for, she had to keep it a secret from them for their sake, it's a good thing that she has invisibility, allowing her to slip away easily. unfortunately, she couldn't keep her secret forever and eventually her Secret was soon discovered by her parents, and they disowned her as a result. with nowhere to go, violet felt completely alone, sad & heartbroken. but most of all, she felt angry, angry at those she tried to help. she had sacrificed everything for them, and they just threw her away like nothing. well, if she can't be a hero, then she might as well be the villain
Alias: The Bowler Hat Boy
Abilities & Equipment: genius-level intellect & Robot assistance via D0R-15
He doesn't know who he is, where he came from, or where he was. the only thing he does know is that he has a robot partner in the form a sentient bowler hat called DOR-15. now, at first glance, he may seem harmless but looks can be deceiving, thanks in part to DOR-15, who is equipped with a variety of gadgets made for any combat situation. but even without her, Wilbur is capable of doing things without her assistance. and the worse, is that it seems he wants revenge for something that happened. but regardless of how you interpret his story and how Wilbur came, he's here and now, he wants revenge
Abilities/Equipment: Red Panda Transformation
out of all of the Kids, Mei lee proved to be the more noble of them, from her healthy relationship with her friends, to how she managed to stop her mother's rampage, she had shown that she was still capable of being a good kid even if she has a red panda form. said form would soon come in handy when a string of crimes started to occur near her area, though it didn't bother her at first, but when one of her friends got hurt during an encounter with one of them, she knew she had to do something about it. thankfully though she had the highest grades at school, so all of the stuff Mei had learn really helped Mei a lot in her investigations. and thanks to her Red Panda form, Mei is able to thwart off criminals who even dare hinder her work. though she does struggle a bit from time to time, especially when she's faced against the five biggest villains in the city. but despite that, she's always willing to help anyone, even in the darkest of hours
