the blasted AZERITE is BAD ENOUGH, tell of an OLD GOD emerging to wreak havoc is a LITTLE MORE outside flynn’s PAYGRADE---he appreciates the gold wyrmbane pays him with, but the entirety of the stormwind treasury couldn’t afford to lessen flynn’s SELF-PRESERVATION. ...maybe. ...no, definitely not.

flynn wears something of a WARRING expression, a blend of TREPIDATION & CONVICTION ; arms rest folded against his chest, & he continuously repositions his stance, evidently ANXIOUS about this whole thing, yet STUBBORN in his decision here.

DEJECTED, an inexorable frown draws itself across the captain’s countenance, an expression UNCOMMON to his features ; he UNDERSTANDS the risks, but such dangers serve only to BOLSTER his resolve---

CERTAINLY he’ll acquiesce he’s not one of SHAW’S AGENTS, that this business they’re getting themselves into is a task better reserved for those ingrained within the SI:7 organization & who hold OBLIGATION to the COMPLETION of the mission, but---WELL, flynn would claim self-appointed obligation to see master shaw through til the end. it’s not his JOB, he’s made no OATH, he has no FAULT in this, but the idea of seeing shaw off to such treacherous mission isn’t one that SETTLES RIGHT--- & of COURSE he knows the SKILLSET possessed by the spymaster, knows he’s been pulling a MYRIAD of IMPOSSIBLE plays since he was YOUNG, but... flynn didn’t KNOW HIM then - he knows him NOW, & there’s a desperation to CONTINUE to know him ; in order to do so, that entails remaining near. 

A HEARTY CHUCKLE, boisterous as is EVERYTHING the captain does.  in its subside, he presents a BROAD grin, emphasizing the expression with a WINK in precedence of his tease ;

TO BE FAIR, it’s not as though he purposefully instigates difficulties, things just... HAPPEN. but because of such, he’s become RATHER IMPRESSIVELY ADEPT at getting himself then OUT of trouble - crafty & clever, there’s not yet a charge that has STUCK. ...SURE, there are some pubs of which he can no longer venture into for fear of earning a dart through the eye, & SURE he’ll be keelhauled if ever he dares to BREATHE in the direction of freehold, & S U R E constable taylor knows more details about flynn than possibly CYRUS, but that’s entirely different business---

TEETH CHATTER, sailor far more acclimated to more AGREEABLE weather than the nipping chill of such frozen hellscape---TIDES, he suspects the ABYSS to be more accommodating than the grandoise spires & slates of this unforgiving fortress.

there’s something almost like INDIGNATION in his tone, pitch rising as the captain missteps & nearly slips across the icy flooring AGAIN ; were such to happen, the only thing that’d save him would be the chilled pikes protruding from the walls, or the frankly ENORMOUS man who, really, looks no less SHARP & just about as rightly cold ; flynn will keep his arms wrapped ‘round himself & pray they don’t permanently FREEZE like that---
