Poetry does not wait for a dip in your routine to come alive. It will dawn on you when you’re getting groceries, grabbing coffee, or sitting at work. It does not wait for the mundane to become extraordinary. Poetry is the extraordinary within the mundane.

Do you ever get that feeling where you’re not sad but you’re not happy either, and it’s like there is something missing in your life, and you have no idea what it is?

Which do you want: the pain of staying where you are, or the pain of growth?

You are going to break your promise. I understand. And I hold my hands over the ears of my heart, so that I will not hate you.

It really does matter who you’re spending most of your time with, and you change each other inevitably. You change even in the smallest of things, tiny minuscule changes that affect how you think and what you think.
