Alexander's Patisserie Review
Roughly around September 2020, when the restrictions for outdoor dining were a little more loose, I visited Alexander's Patisserie in Mountain View with two friends to try out their new afternoon tea. To my knowledge, the bakery had never done an afternoon tea before so this was a great time to try it out. Served in dark green china, I had the Earl Grey tea and we all received different glass teapots. Two sets of our food was served on a beautiful three-tiered tray. (Our other friend couldn't get the afternoon tea since it consisted of seafood in the end). On the bottom we had two sandwiches with foie gras and tiny quiches. The middle tier had some lovely boxy scones and the top had a wide assortment of beautiful treats, like the lemon meringue tart or the chocolate cake. Personally, I think the desserts stole the show, but that's to be expected at a grand bakery like this!
