Yesterday was @catflattery ‘s birthday and this was what I made her to celebrate. We’ve been through a lot of fandoms together. And through a lot more then that. I plan to do so much more to this image but I had to get it finished just enough to share for her birthday. Here’s the little excerpt I wrote for her when I was about to go to bed last night after we had a great day celebrating her birthday. <3

“It's 4am; four hours after your birthday but I'm still feeling the excitement of your big day. I can't even begin to comprehend that I'm ACTUALLY spending your big day with you for the very first time in person since our friendship began in summer of 2005. I know I was very excited, probably more then you, but you have no idea how happy I am to be here and to be able to celebrate the birth and creation of someone so dear to me.

I have a lot of things I want to say. A lot of thoughts that have been swirling around my head since you first told me I could come to visit.

I don't know if you realize this, but your a key factor in saving my life. This time last year, I don’t even remember where I was or what was going on, but I wasn't happy, and I was struggling for months with whether I wanted to go on. I hid it because I didn’t know how to tell you. I didn’t know how to explain to anyone I was hurting so bad. But I finally got my courage and told you.

That's when you brought me to Florida.

You gave me an opportunity; a chance to really spread my wings and finally be me. To let me heal and be myself. You gave me a home to live in with laughter and love. You give me all night laughing sessions along with late night chats and drawing until 3:00am.

I don't know if you realize it, but you helped give me life again. You helped me regain my focus. You help me keep motivated and be the ambitious person I am meant to be. You have given me so very much, and you still keep giving. You’re so important to me and I'm always in awe by you and the many things you can do and will accomplish. You're beautiful; you're smart; you're funny and witty; you're talented. You're so many wonderful things all rolled up into one. We literally are the exact opposites of one another, but we make the absolute best team. You're the other half of my soul and I don't know what I would do without you.

I don't even know if I would be here.

But you helped give me reason to stay focused and stay motivated and confident. So much good has came to me thanks to you and I sincerely hope I can show you one day just how thankful I am for you and how much I treasure you and our friendship.

So even though it's over, I am so happy you were put on this planet to be my best friend. I was blessed to meet you. Thank you.
