Michelle, walked into her school, dressed to look like a boy again. Even though her father was no longer with them and she no longer needed to dress like a boy, she didn't want to be made fun of for showing up like her true self. Plus, she had heard of a new student joining their school, so, she figures she'd keep the reputation she already has.

Sophie hopped off her bike, locking it as she looked around the school. She wasn’t liked thinking about a new school. For a good chunk of her life, it was spent being bullied. To be moved into a new school meant more people bullying her in her eyes. She could already feel people staring at her as she kept her head down. Her navy blue eyepatch still fit snug up against her face.
Not really paying attention to where she was going, Michelle just wandered the halls for a bit before she felt herself bump into another body. Falling to the floor, she looked up at the new girl, the eye patch drawing her attention. Though, she didn't ask or draw any attention to it. If she did, she'd probably be a massive hypocrite.
"Sorry about that. Are you okay?" She asked, sounding like a boy still to keep up her act.
Sophie stumbled onto the floor, taking her a bit to realize who she bumped into. “Yeah, I’m good how about you? Are you okay?” She asked as she gathered herself. Sophie extended her hand outward towards Michelle as she brushed her bangs back behind her ear. “I must’ve not seen you there, my bad.” She apologized.
Michelle nodded as she took Sophie's hand. "I'm fine, thanks for asking." She replied, allowing herself to be helped up. She knew he hands were too small and to soft to be a male's, but, she seemed to have forgotten that fact when taking the other girl's hand.
“You’re welcome!” She noted quietly how his hands seemed to be softer than normal. She shrugged it off, already thinking that he probably thinks that it’s not normal for hers to be chaliced from all the hard work she does outside of school.
“Hey uh…are you new here..?” She asked nervously.
Michelle shook her head gently. "I've been at this school for a couple years now, why?" She asked, biting that this girl's hand felt rougher than normal, but, knew they were from callouses. "Besides, of you're worried about bullies, don't. I have my fair share of bullies too. Mainly because I have to use private bathrooms and changing rooms due to... Personal trauma." She explained, her voice skipping back to normal for a few seconds before remembering that she's supposed to be acting like a boy.
“I’m actually new here and don’t really know my way around…” she answered, “I guess it’s also a good thing to not show e to worry about bullies. I’ve had a long history of being bullied. People think I’m a freak show. I’m sorry to hear that about you…I..uh…got some personal trauma, too…” she pursed her lips and her expression softened. Even though her eyes weren’t visible by her bangs and eyepatch, her eyebrow and lips did all the work for her.
“I-I’m Sophia—y-you can call me Sophie.” She introduced herself.
"I'm Miche-" She froze, about to introduce herself as her real self before catching herself. "I'm Michael. Michael Afton." She introduced. Hoping to draw Sophie's attention from her messed up introduction, she motioned to the school. "I can show you around if you want."
“Nice to meet you!” She smiled, not minding the introduction, “I’d appreciate it, thanks!” She let go of Michelle’s hand and placed it on the strap of her backpack. “Sooo what’s the school like? New school jitters.” She looked around the campus, making sure to take quick mental notes of her surroundings.
She shrugged. "It's nothing that great." She answered, walking down the hall. "The only nptable thing about this place is the fact that we have a pretty big robotics department." Her voice took on an excited undertone when talking about robotics. "Ehe... Sorry."
