So upsetting how weâve been thrown to the wolves by the duffers after being some of their biggest supporters. Itâs fine that they didnât want to make byler happen. Itâs not fine how they wrote it and used it for engagement with their series and then fucking made fun of us for it.
Some of the most dedicated fans of this series have been completely ostracized by the rest of the fandom and just all of the GA stranger things watchers because of how theyâve handled this. I have seen people be so fucking mean to bylers.
Iâm not even really upset about the ship because thatâs just how ships are, most of mine arenât canon and thatâs never bothered me. Itâs the way that queer people have been represented in the show and how their queer fans have been treated.
Fuck them man Iâm so tired of being told that we should be happy because a straight person tells us that itâs fine to be gay as long as they donât have to see or hear about it at all.
And anyone who says this wasnât queerbait is just plain mean for refusing to listen to us and taking the side of the cishet millionaires instead.
