Happy weekend, friends! I'm so excited to share a new cover illustration I made for this weeks issue of @barrons! I am incredibly excited to share the portrait illustration of Tan France I made for the very first issue of GQ Middle East! He wrote a Style essay about embracing our curiosity for new styles and it is so wonderful. This version is my own personal variant -- the print version appears sans background! I am so grateful to have had the chance to work with the art director Loretta De Goede on this assignment 💙

I've been enjoying these recent couture collections, especially the Givenchy collection under the new artistic director, Clare Waight Keller. The collection dives deep into Givenchy's archives, resurfaces with some gorgeous looks and silhouettes, and modernizes them. I also loved that the atelier team who created the collection came out with the director at the shows close. Couture is time and labor-intensive and involves many dedicated artisans. It's nice to see people who work so diligently behind the scenes recieve much-deserved respect and appreciation. #fashion #fashionillustration #givenchy

Hey friends! I've been making a lot of quick fashion sketches recently, mostly because much of the work I've been making this past month has been work I can't share with you. But also because I love to draw clothing! So here's an #ootd from a cooler, misty day in New York, before this heat wave.

I am so humbled to have heard that the illustration I made for Project2021 to illuminate refugee experiences has been selected to appear in the American Illustration 37 annual book. I am very grateful to @american_illustration_winners and the jury for this honor! A big thank you is in order for my art director @sarahmadeline for inviting me to work with her on this illustration and for giving me an opportunity to productively express myself in support of people who require our continued attention and support. This portrait accompanies a story about the manager of the French football club, AS Monaco FC, Leonardo Jardim, and his "knack for turning young players into superstars". One such superstar and star of this illustration, Ángel Di María, has a reputation for using dramatic and teary-eyed performances during games, pretending to have been fouled or hurt.
