Here's the thing. I'm not surprised this turned out to be true. I'm also not upset they do this kind of thing. It makes sense. However after years of attacking people who made this claim and outright lying about it, Apple deserves a shitstorm. As do people like Rene Richie (all of iMore really), John Gruber, and countless other Apple sycophants that ran story after story (for years) mocking and directing their readers' malice toward anyone that brought this issue up.
