Micah was still feeling brave, she’d kissed a couple people so far, but the last time she got a high five and her confidence dipped slightly but she was sure she had the next one. The bottled stopped on one of the prettiest girl’s she’d ever seen and suddenly she wasn’t feeling brave anymore. She squirmed slightly as people encouraged her to move closer so she could kiss her properly... Except the closer she got the more her hammering heart felt like it was directly between her eyes and it was the only thing she could hear. Finally at the last second she moved and gave her a kiss on the cheek and everyone mumbled that it was cheating, even a few boos surrounded her and there was a deep deep blush that colored her cheeks as she looked at the unfortunate soul that was being booed right along side her. “I’m so sorry, I panicked.”

Micah was not normally a brave person, or someone would take a chance with people she knew let alone strangers, but it was Pride. It was pride, she was tipsy and the girl in front of her was beautiful. How in the world could she not be brave? She surged forward, moving her hand to the back of the girl’s neck giving her a deep and solid kiss. Micah left herself breathless with it and when they broke apart she smiled. “Hi.. I’m Micah, it’s nice to meet you.”

I was wondering when I’d be able to put a name to a face. You sit a few rows over in Intro to Switch. 😛 What’s up, Micah? I’m Thad. What kinds of things are you interested in?

Well I’m glad I could help, it’s nice to meet you Thad! I’ve seen you too, I kept meaning to say hello so I guess this is as good as anything. Uhm.. I like movies, theater, anything generally arts related in that regard, I can’t draw or anything cool like that.

Hi, Micah! I’m Maya and still sort of new so definitely here for new friends. Do you have any idea what kinds of clubs you’d like to join?

Oh that’s cool how are you enjoying it? I think ones that don’t mind beginners joining up and learning as they go! Or maybe like artsy ones? Not uhm, painting and stuff like film and theater and stuff. Drawing and painting and all that takes a skill I don’t have. 

Students that are able to keep their heads down for the majority of a school year have always fascinated me.  I’m Dr. Davani, it’s a pleasure to meet you, Miss Adams.
