"Uncalled for? I definitely had that coming. Just have someone stand back behind whoever you're speaking too with cue cards, that way if you freeze up you can look at them and read the cards and BAM! You know what to say again. Thank me later. "

“Oh, please. I’m not the one here to talk out my problems with a therapist. I’ve been known to… to stop talking and just, well, stare. Or I become flustered and I get really wordy and mix everything up and no one knows what I’m talking about.”

"Touché. Have someone stand in the back with cue cards." 

“Alexan— Chase? This is just great, isn’t it? No one knows how to keep quiet. Although I’m one to talk… I overthink everything from the start, Micah… There’s not really anything we can do about that, unfortunately.”

“Why does everyone know? It was an accident. I didn’t even know it happened until someone sparked m memory. You really think so? Maybe I should practice more.”

"Not everyone knows, I only know 'cause Alexandra told me, and the only was she knows is because Chase accidentally told her. Your secret's safe with me, Hardway.. I indeed think so. Practicing more won't hurt...unless you start to over think things and then work yourself up even more...but that won't happen. I won't let it happen, because I'm making the executive decision and making myself your personal speech coach." 

“He’s… a different story. I wouldn’t go there if I were you. Oh, I am. I’m generally too concerned. Which is why I’m worrying about this presentation so much more than I should be. It’s, it’s causing stuttering a-and sweaty palms, as well as inability to think clearly— never mind, apparently it’s also causing me to ramble.”

"No need to go there, ma'am. I already know. I think that you're going to be fine." 

“I-I… yes. At least most of the strangers I will never see again, so I don’t need to worry about making a good impression on them. Their opinion of me won’t really affect me when it’s all over.”

"10 points for Micah. Hm, you seem like the kind of person who would be really concerned about first impressions and making sure they're good." 

"It’s better than some people’s faces, that’s for sure. Familiar? Sometimes familiar makes things worse.”

"And by some you mean Catelano, right? But familiar is comforting. If I saw you in a a crowd I had to speak to I'd probably be more comfortable than I would if I only saw a bunch of strangers." 

"Um, how will that help me exactly?"

"I dunno, it wouldn't hurt to have a familiar face." 

"It gets better after some time."
