Hiiii could you please do a cm punk angsty something where she think's he's cheating and she shits down and he doesnt realize because he's too busy sneaking around planning her birthday party (or actually cheating hmmm) And she like breaks up with him and he's so confused and then yeah... you be the judge of happy or sad ending.
Here it is and I'm sorry it took so long...I hope you like it! đ
âBecky.â I sniffed, grasping my phone. âI think Philâs cheating on me.â
It felt like part of my heart was being ripped out at the realization. Hearing it out loud, it hit me harder than I thought. I needed to talk to someone about it and I could always rely on my best friend Becky. âWhat would make you think that?â she said, seeming like she had stopped what she was doing. âHe hasnât been answering my texts, his location is off, and when I do get him on the phone, heâs very short and distracted.â I could hear Becky sigh into the phone.Â
âSweetie, he is a WWE Superstar. The man is BUSY. I donât think he is messing around on you.â I played with the hem on the blanket that covered my lap, chewing my lip. âWell if heâs not cheating on me, what is going on?â I could hear her sigh through the phone. âY/NâŚyou havenât seen each other in months. The calls and the facetimes have been scarce at best, I knowâŚI think you are just missing him and reading into things more than you usually do. Just calm down.â Deep down, I knew she was probably right but my heart did not want to believe that. As she could sense the thoughts in my head.
âDo you trust him?â She asked and I had thought about it for a moment. âYes.â I softly said. âHas he ever given you a reason to not trust him?â I really thought hard. âNo.â I said quietly. âThen there you go.â She softly said. âJust relax, take a breath and trust in the process.â She said as a loud clang was heard in the background. âGerald, you put that down right now! Iâm sorry Y/N. I have to go.â She said as she hung up the phone.
I chewed on what Becky said. Sheâs rightâŚIâm over thinking it. Stupid hormones. I knew I was gonna start my period soon and that was probably it. I soon put on and old match of Punkâs, just to hear his voice. I missed him so much but atleast I can still see him and hear his voice.

I groaned in pain, barely able to move. Oh, this one is bad. I was due for a bad cycle but damn. Had to call off work and I had been nursing my favorite drink and clinging to my phone like a lifeline. Checking every little bit, clinging to hope to hear something from Punk. 2 weeks. 2 weeks and I still havenât heard a peep from him. Not answering my messages, my calls, my facetimes. No good morning babe texts, no stupid memesâŚnothing. The more time went on, it felt less like my hormones and more like my intuition taking over. Something isnât right. Soon Becky flashed on my screen.Â
Becks: Have you heard anything yet?
Becks: Are you fucking serious?! The man is busy but THIS is ridiculous!!!!
Becks: The next time I see him I am going to kick his Chicago ASS!
I laughed at that and replied.
That would be funny to see, a great birthday present.
My birthday was only 2 weeks away and looking at his schedule, he was going to be on the other side of the country, with no breaks to come home. Hopefully Iâd see him soon.
Becks: I know you miss him boo but Iâll make sure you have an amazing birthday.
I was looking forward to her plans. Girls trip with lots of wine, dancing and letting go.
Putting my phone down, I looked over at the empty spot in the bed next to me. Still had his imprint of his body in the sheets from the last time he was here. His scent was long gone but it made my heart hurt a bit more. I pulled one of his shirts out of the drawer on his side of the bed and breathed it in. A faint smell was left and I breathed deeply. I needed this and needed his comfort. I folded it and put it back. We hadnât moved in together yet but I had a drawer at his place and he had one at mine.
Thatâs when I noticed most of his stuff was cleared out of the drawer. That made me stop in my tracks. Why would he be taking this stuff with him? I was puzzled and more hurt. He was acting a bit strange the last time he left here come to think of it. He was on phone quite a bit. Even under the covers, his side of the bed was lit up and any time I tried to cuddle with him, he recoiled, immediately putting the phone down. I thought it was just business stuff, storylines and spoilers I couldnât seeâŚnow I am not so sure.
Immediately, my mind is spinning. Is he really cheating? Did I do something wrong? I felt my heart clench in my chest with the thought. My phone buzzed next to me, breaking me out of the reverie.
I just stared at the message, making sure I wasnât seeing things. Do I respond? I chewed my lip, debating on what to do.
Punkers: I am SO sorry I havenât been able to answer you. Things have been hectic. Miss you like crazy.
I just stared at my phone. I should feel happy that he texted me, but IâmâŚnot? I just continued to stare at the screen, leaving him unread. The messages soon stopped, no other bubbles popping up and I sat frozen, not knowing what to do.

2 days before my birthday
I came home from work, throwing down my bag, kicked off my shoes and headed to change into some comfy clothes. Sighing heavily, I shrugged off the rest of the day, thankful to be off for a few days. Tonight, it was me, the tv and some greasy takeout. I put on a Netflix series I had been meaning to watch and dug into my food.
Incoming Call From Punkers
I sighed and let it ring. Immediately, it rang again. Once again, I let it go. Content when the ringing stopped, I got up and took care of my dishes. Soon, another chime came through.
That got my attention. The whole time we had been dating, he never facetimed me. I always had to facetime him. I was still upset at him and I didnât want to answer. I continued on and soon, a ping, indicating a voicemail.
âY/NâŚI donât know why you arenât answering me. Baby, I know itâs been weeks and I am sorry. The schedule has been crazy and I know I should have been contacting you more but here I am now trying and you arenât answering. [a deep sigh followed by a slow deep baseline starting] âCome on PhilâŚdance with meâŚâ CLICKâ
I dropped my cup onto the kitchen floor. âWhat in the actual fuck?!â I was seeing red, fingers shaking. I needed to call Becky.
âBECKY!â I screamed into the phone as she picked up.Â
âHey Y/NâŚwhatâsâŚâ She started.
âYou HAVE to listen to the voicemail from Phil I just got.â Replaying the message back from him, I could hear Beckyâs voice hitch. âWhat the fuck?â she screamed. âI know!â I screamed back. âIs this the reason he hasnât been answering me? Also who was that and where is he right now?  What is he doing?â I was spiraling but I didnât care. The last monthâs frustrations were mounting higher and higher.
âY/NâŚthere has to be a perfect reason on why heâŚâ she started.
âNo, how can he explain this? Oh itâs a fan or someone was just yelling stuff to be stupid. No, he is with someone!â I screamed into the phone as I paced around my kitchen.
âY/NâŚmaybe itâs one of the divaâs and they are at an after show party? You canât just jump to conclusions.â She tried talking me down.
âI donât know if that makes it better or worseâŚâ I mumbled.Â
I could hear her sigh. âJust calm down, think it through.â I knew she was right but in the moment, I couldnât take it. âIâm calling him back.â
âNo, sweetie, I wouldnât doâŚâShe said before I hung up on her and immediately facetimed him, my face red with anger, my eyes brimmed with angry tears, my heart racing as I waited to see if he answered.Â
After two rings, video came through. It was an afterparty, the strobe lights flashing and music bumping. A blonde femaleâs face came into view and looked right at the screen. âPhil is currently busy. Please leave a message after the beep or better yet, donât call back.â The girl turned the screen towards his face as he was smiling, grinding up on the girl to the music. His face caught my face and recognized it was a facetime call. His eyes went wide as he tried to grab the phone from her hand and she laughed. The call went dead.
The phone fell from my hands and crashed to the floor. My knees buckled and my eyes welled up with tears as I hit the floor, sobbing. Everything hurt, my heart was broken. My vision blurry, my lungs were on fire, my life shattered.  Brokenly with what voice I could muster I said, âSiri, call Becky.â I could hear the click of her picking up.
âBeckyâŚâ my voice broken and riddled with pain. Another sob wrecked my body and I couldnât get anything else out. âIâm on my way.â I heard her say as she hung up.
Hours later, sitting on the couch with a warm cup of tea in my hand, Becky sat next to me as I explained everything that happened. She sat there, just listening to me and turning my phone off for me after the 6th time Punk tried to call. I sipped my tea, trying to process it all.
After a while, I was able to speak again calmly. I looked at the empty tea cup and took a deep breath. âItâs over.â Becky didnât say anything as she squeezed my hand and then pulled me to her in a hug. âItâs ok babes. Iâm here.â I knew what I had to do, but I wasnât going to do it now. I wanted to get some sleep first and for my mind to clear.
******************************************
I was woken out of a sound sleep to someone pounding on my door. I immediately threw on some pj bottoms and a t shirt and my slippers and sleepily went to the door. I flew open the door and immediately woke up. There was Phil.
âHappy Birthday Baby.â He spoke with a smile on his face. I didnât respond and just stared back at him. His smile immediately fell. âWhatâs wrong babe?â He reached out to touch my face and I flinched from his touch. He recoiled his hand like he had been burnt. âY/NâŚâ he softly said as I turned my face away as a tear fell from my eye. He sighed and looked at my porch mat, scuffing his feet back and forth softly. âIs this about last night?â
My eyes shot up angrily. Thatâs when he saw it, the puffiness in my face, the redness in my eyes, my trembling lip. âHow could you do this to me Phil?â I mustered up, hand clenching the door frame. He genuinely looked confused. âDo what?â he said, looking directly at me, his hands in his pockets. I stifled back a laugh that was close into turning into a sob. âI saw her on the call last night, Phil. The way your hands were on her hips, how close you were to herâŚâ I could feel the bile coming up my throat. I had to look away and bite my lip.Â
Phil laughed. He laughed hard. My head whipped around back to him in pure disbelief. âOh, Y/NâŚyouâŚyou think thatâŚher and I?â He laughed even harder. Humiliated and angry, I looked at him sterly and said. âWeâre done.â And slammed the door in his face. After the door rattled behind me, I broke down, sliding down the heavy wooden door frame to the floor, my vision once again blurred and my heart shattered, this time for good.
****************************************
I donât know when he had left, I lost track after the banging and the yelling from the other side of the door as I got up and sunk myself into my bed on the other side of the house. I didnât hear the car pull away, no longer heard the noise and his voice, I focused on my breathing and my heart beat slowing from itâs frantic pace. I pulled out my phone, called Becky.
She picked up on the first ring. âBecksâŚI did itâŚitâs over.â
I laid there and explained everything to her over the phone, the last month flowing out of me like a waterfall. Forever my bestie, she was supportive and just listened. Once I was able to get it all out, she spoke up.
âI am glad I am taking you away from all of this messâŚyou need some girl time and some time to recover.â
âI agree.â I sniffled.
âYou know what? Pack your bag. We are heading out early.â She said as I sniffled and laughed. âAre you sure?â I responded. âPositive. We need to shake looseâŚyou are in need of a fuck it weekend. Iâll be there in a half hour.â The phone soon clicked and without thinking, I immediately packed my bag.

Over the course of the next few days, I forgot about Punk. It was just her and I, just like before him and I had met. We rode around with the top down and our hair flying in the wind, singing really bad renditions of our favorite songs. We stopped every hour our so to load up on more ice coffee and then rushing to find a bathroom to empty our bladders. We got to our Air BnB, unpacked and got ready for the night ahead.
I hardly heard my phone over the music, seeing I had a lot of messages, voicemails all from Phil. I hovered over his contact info and hit the block caller button and a sense of weight was lifted off of me. Throwing my phone back in my purse, I threw on a dress, did my hair and makeup and felt the happiest I had in weeks.
We hit the town, bar after bar, having a few drinks at each place. The last place we had gone to, I was dancing with Becky when a guy came up to us and asked me to dance. Becky smiled and winked at me and let me go off with the guy a few feet away. âI know you probably hear his a lot but you are beautiful.â His voice was like velvet and with the alcohol, I just let his voice take me over. I blushed deeply. âNo, actually I just got out of a relationship so you are the first.â This guy was very respectful, which was surprising for a bar scene but it was refreshing. âWell, that guy is an idiot for letting someone like you go.â I smiled at him. I didnât say much as we continued dancing. âYou will find someone who will treat you like a Queen sweatheart, Iâm sure of it. Thank you for the dance little lady.â He kissed my hand gently and walked away.
Becky came up to me after with a big grin. âHe was cuteâŚâ âYeah, he was.â I grinned as we walked to the bar to get one last drink before we headed back. âWhat did he tell you?â She said, taking a sip of her drink, leaning against the bar. I smiled, swirling the ice around with my straw. âHe said I should be treated like the Queen I am and that the right one will come along. He was just genuinely nice.â Becky smiled as we took one last look around as we finished our drinks and headed back to the Air BnB.
The rest of our trip was full of girl time, catching up and just being stress free. No mentions of Phil, what happened, wrestling or anything. It was so freeing and I felt like I was really just getting back to being myself. As much as I didnât want to go back home, she had her hubby and her kids to get back to and I had a life to pick up.
I opened the door, lugging my suitcase behind me and kicked off my shoes. The house smelled of despair. It was hard coming back to reality, but it was something I had to face. Putting on some music, I unpacked my suitcase, putting on laundry and got my life back in order.
*************************************
I picked up my phone and went to my settings. BLOCKED. I clicked on Philâs name and unblocked it. I pulled up a new message and immediately started texting.
I have somethings of yours if you would like them. Would you like me to send them to you, toss them or make arrangements?
I put down my phone and started doing some dishes. Within a few moments, my phone buzzed next to me.
xxx-xxx-xxxx: Iâd like to come get them if that is okay.
I dried my hands and picked up my phone.Â
I know you have a busy schedule but let me know when would be good for you and we will set something up.
Immediately, bubbles showed on my screen.
xxx-xxx-xxxx: I have a show about 2 hours from you tomorrow night. If it is ok with you, I can swing by the next day before we head out to grab them.
Thatâs fine with me, just let me know when you are near.
Putting my phone down, I let out a sigh I didnât know I was holding. I looked at the cardboard box sitting on my counter and felt my chest tighten. The last piece and the last time Iâll ever see him again.
Saturday rolled around fast. I was cleaning the house when I got the message.
xxx-xxx-xxxx: Iâm in town and Iâll be there in 20 if thatâs ok.
I sent the message and took a deep breath. Show time.
I heard a car pull up to my driveway. A black SUV parked and I saw Phil emerge. It was like seeing a ghost but also a stranger. His hair had grown out a little, he had trimmed his beard down and he looked more muscular, like he had been hitting the gym a lot more than he usually did. Before he got to the porch steps, he stopped. His eyes blocked by some sunglasses and a ballcap. His hands were in his pockets and he was still. No one spoke for what seemed like eternity. He sniffed, nudged his nose with his thumb and cleared his throat.
It got quiet once again as he began to figit back and forth on the side walk, I held my shoulders and bit my lip. We stood there for a few moments again until he spoke. âSo, you lookâŚâhe cleared his throat.
âYou too.â I barely got out as things get quiet again.
âMay I come in?â he asked gently. I moved out of the way and he came in. The soft click of the door was loud in the small space. He took off his sunglasses and looked around the room. âYou redecorated.â He said softly, looking everywhere but me.
âYeah. Decided I needed a change.â I said softly as I could see him bristle slightly. He turned around to see the cardboard box on the kitchen island. Philâs written in my handwriting. His hand reached out and traced the letters before he looked in. His clothes, his toiletries that he had kept in the now empty bed side stand, his comic book stuff that used to be on the tv, his merch that was scattered across the house and in my dresser. His fingers touched the shirt that he gave me the night he told me he loved me and his hand stopped for a moment as he let go of some breath. Everything in that house that reminded me of him was in that box. He stared at it for a moment and closed it up.
He looked up at me and thatâs when I saw it, the tear that was threatening to run down his cheek. His green eyes, muddy like the light had been burnt out of them. âThere is something that I need to say.â He said softly looking at me. I immediately went to rebuttal but he knew me to well. âPlease, just let me.â He said brokenly, looking like he would falter at any time. His hand clutched the countertop as he spoke softly. âThe night everything went down, I know what it looked like butâŚâI stopped him. âPhil, please donât.â âJust let me finish.â He said a bit sternly and I knew at this point, I should just let him say his peace. I put my hands up as to signal to him to continue.Â
âThat night, I was out with the roster at an after party. What you saw, âHe took a deep breath. âIs not what it looked like.â He stopped, hard eyes looking into mine, waiting for me to interrupt him. After a moment, he realized I wasnât going to so he started again. âKyra is the woman you saw in the call. She is one of our producers. I have known her for a long time and she knew I was planning something for your birthday.â He started, looking at the counter.
âY/N, she was teaching me how to dance, how to grind because IâŚâ he stopped, his cheeks tinged pink. âI wanted to something really sexy for you. I know you had been reading your romance books and I borrowed one of them the last time I was here. There was a scene in where the guy pulls his girl in while they are in the bedroom and he puts on some bumping music and he grabs her and grinds against her sexily to the beat and wellâŚother things happen.â He said taking off his ballcap and putting it on the counter, fluffing his hair a bit. âThe rest of the roster knew and they were giving me tips too, thinking how sweet it was for me to learn something like this to surprise you with.â
I took in all of this information, not knowing if he was lying, telling the truth, taking it at face value. I was quiet, my face blank as I asked him, âWhy didnât you answer my calls or my texts or reach out to me?â I said looking into his eyes deeply. He sighed and looked up at me. âI knew that if I talked to you, I would ruin the surprise. When I wasnât at the gym or at the arena, I was either reading the book or with Kyra learning the steps and before you say anything, it wasnât anything romantic, clothes stayed on, she was purely teaching me on what to do.â He stared at me waiting for me to say anything. When I didnât he continued again. âShe is married with two wonderful kids and her husband is another professional wrestler.â His elbows hit the counter as he put his hands over his face. âY/N, you have to believe me, I would never cheat on you.â His eyes bore into my soul, soft and glistening.
He tentively reach out across the counter for my hand and then instantly pulled it back. âI know how it looked and thatâs why I snatched the phone out of her hand. She thought she was being funny and then realized how upset I was. She didnât want you to get any inkling of what we were doing so that I could fully surprise you. Once she found out about what happened, she felt terrible.â I stayed quiet, still processing all of the information. âIf this is the last time I ever see you again, I want you to know the truth. I never cheated on you. I always loved you and Iâm sorry for the pain I put you though.â
My eyes welled up with tears, my lip trembled and I was speechless. I knew by his tone, his body language and his words, that he was being sincere, it was truthful and I felt horrible. Becky said I ran to conclusions and she was right. The tears started to free flow as they silently ran down my cheeks.
Without any words, he picked up the cardboard box, looked at me once last time and headed to the door. He stopped for a moment before he turned back around and really looked at me. âI love you Y/N. I always have and I never stopped.â With that, he opened the door and then shut it behind him with a soft click.
Hey are you still in town? Iâd really like to talk.
Typing the message, I could barely make it out with the tears that threatened to fall.
Bubbles appeared and then,
xxx-xxx-xxxx: On my way, Babe.
