ok so a fast is a special time in which you are fully dedicated to listening/feel/full attention for God to speak/move/direct. This happens by putting things away that are distracting you from fully being open to what God wants to do. A fast can be not eating chocolate, food in general, soda, coffee, etc.- all of which put your body in weakness so your spirit has time to listen during the times you would be eating such. however, the most powerful fasting is of mental and heart things within your life. whether that being not listening to music except for one artist, no video games, sitting more in nature and less in other places, not spending time with people, etc- things that distract you in small ways in which you’re mentally and heart-connected to such which does not open full opportunity for God to get your attention. It is a time in which you will be able to hear/feel/see the whisperings movements/words of God.

with this explanation given, we take attention to whats going on in your life right now. and what you want/see/wish/think is happening in the future (whether the future is tommorrow, next week, or months from now).

FUTURE: studying youth work, to

FAR FUTURE: become youth worker

From this list, determine what you need: clarity, direction, inspiration, etc.

And from this need, determine what you can fast which will open listening attention to receive.
