Krystal huffed, tilting her head back and trying her best not to roll her eyes, âDied of boredom? Please, if anything it was more quiet and less stressful without you. A carnival came around the time you were gone.â She smirked, almost as if a carnival coming was some grand prize to win.Â
âAn occasion much like this one deserves your full name being used.â She shot back, keeping her tone icy and angry. Krystal paused. Did he just use her real name? The name that no one knew, not even Chanyeol (or Jongin), knew. The forbidden word, Soojung, was a reminder of her past. And she absolutely forbade anyone from using it, even if no one knew but her family.Â
Glaring at Arden, she continued, âItâs nice to know youâve also been digging up secrets about me, Arden Park. No one knows that name, and it should stay that way. Itâs Krystal to you.âÂ
Her fingers tightened around her door frame, wanting to just slam it shut in his face. First, he left without a single warning, and now, he was digging into her past? Who the hell did he think he was? Emotional or not, what he did was wrong.
Arden leaned on the door frame. She looked so adorable when she was mad. âQuiet and less stressful? youâre just saying it was boring in a nice way,âhe said. He set the cake down on the ground and smirked in response. "Carnival coming to town sounds like such a great and awesome prizeâŚnow I bet youâre just saying that to make me feel bad~"he said, chuckling.
he listened to her tirade about such an occasion requiring the use of his full name and as well as he outrage at the fact that he had dug into her past. Arden just quietly took it and once she finished off with an icy remark about her name being Krystal to him, Arden smiled slightly.
"If weâre shifting to full names, I should mention that my middle name Alexander. Arden Alexander Park. Just for future reference. Also..it didnât take you long to replace me. Makes me feel irrelevant. Was I really nothing?â He asked. Arden crossed his arms trying to keep himself calm.
âI dug into your past just to find your birth certificate. I was curious as to whether there was another name and Soo jung came up. I think itâs very prettyâŚâ he trailed off.
Ardenâs gaze landed on her hands on the door. âI guess..Iâll just go. you have someone else now and Iâm just irrelevantâŚas always."he said. At least he had seen her. She could slam the door and Arden would still be outside it.
