Last day in Sweden, so we went to Sigtuna. I had a delicious blueberry gelato. Tack så mycket, Sverige!

Then we went back to Vasastan and had amazing gelato in the afternoon. Later, we got pizza for dinner. I decided to be bold and get the pear pizza-- pears, walnuts, honey, on a white base. It was good but missing something.

We went back to beautiful Simrisham today. The sky was so blue! All the houses had flowers planted right outside the front door! What a time to be alive.

The rainy, cold weather is gone and instead we have sun and blue skies and a gorgeous breeze in Ystad.

Princesstårta is the most delicious cake in the whole world. Fight me.

St. Nikolai kyrka (church) in Simrisham, Sweden. The bas-relief sculpture caught my eye because of the wicked cool skeletons🤘🦴 💀

Ales stenar (Ale's stones), a circle of ancient stones in the shape of a ship. It was so windy, I thought I would be blown into the Baltic sea. And then on the way back, I caught this cow making eyes at me.

At the IKEA museum. The museum was kinda a bummer except for this chair.

Vadstena Slott (Vadstena Castle). There was a medieval fair in the inner courtyard with sword fighting and medieval bands playing. I think the band and swordspeople were all local LARPers.

This is the Rök runestone. I didn't touch the stone because who wants to be magically transported back to the Viking age? They didn't even have wifi.

Went to Vandalorum art museum and saw some art.

Many hours later, I'm finally in Sweden. It's gorgeous and I'm tired.
