Beijing protest, a very rare occasion I had just escaped lockdown as a Covid-19 case was discovered in our building, my flight back to Manila was just in a few days and the connecting flight kept getting cancelled as cases continued to rise, I moved to Noel's place temporarily and then the protest broke out as well... I think the people just got fed up after watching the World Cup (seeing the world) and then the fired that killed people in Xinjiang.... and a few days later China opened up and Covid swept up the country like a raging wild fire...
