men are so unsympathetic towards women they can’t even see that women in the past (or even now, in heavily religious environments) regularly having like 10+ children is a pretty depressing historical fact. even one pregnancy is such an ordeal for the human body, even if it isn’t a particularly complicated pregnancy, but men will just be like “but it was natural back then”. yeah lots of things were natural!!! working yourself to death was common!!! u could catch like 20 different epidemic diseases at any point and no one would have been surprised!!! that doesn’t mean u can’t feel empathy for the millions of people that lived through it and the people that still live through it today.
