Soooooo after pulling a few strings he managed to get a discount on the things he said he would buy for Alastor, pretzels, the start chew themed toy and cleaning supplies for his glasses. He wondered if he should get some snacks for Becca but he didn’t know what she liked so maybe next time. He put on a nice hoodie and went to the hotel.

Alastor was currently dusting, Becca swaddled up against him so she could watch her papa work.
He was very, very careful not to fall.

(Don’t worry bro it ain’t even that bad, I was just playing a musical and living out my dreams of being an actress when I literally SLIPPED and my ankle went sideways so now im on the couch with my mom because it became swollen but it’s slowly going down now lol)

“Well, I brought the stuff and more!” Icarus said cheerfully as he lifted two bags up, once contained the pretzels and the chew time while the other bag had Alastor’s cleaning things for his glasses. He pulled out the chew toy for Becca and gave it to her and then gave Alastor the other bag “I figured I would buy you your first cleaning supplies for you glasses, tell me if they’re ever faulty or if you run out”
(No literalmente cuz I live with my grandparents and my aunts also live there, so all my cousin heard in the next room was me groaning in pain and the she sent me a text to ask if I was ok)
Becca begun nomming on the toy once she realized what it must be for.
Alastor took the bag carefully. “Aw, you didn’t have to!”

(Yes bro, I was so embarrassed and scared at the same time cuz all I heard while falling was a freaking POP sound like bro 😭😭
“Like a charm…. Though I think they look silly….” His prescription is really thick. Source; his disability is based on my own, I’ve got some pretty thick lenses.

“Sorry about that, there wasn’t really anything I could do with the magic, the glasses are supposed to fit you and how well you see” Icarus thought for a second before responding “what if I start using my glasses regularly? Mine aren’t that thick but now I have a reason to wear them everyday instead of forgetting them!”
(Reminds me of that one time I saw girl with thick glasses that when she took them off her eyes would be WAY smaller than when she wore the glasses, how’d you pop it?)

“Oh yeah, im what they call nearsighted, I can’t see far away so I need glasses but since it isn’t that bad I forget to wear them, they’re actually sitting in my apartment right now” he chuckled
(Bro I forget to wear my glasses and the only reason i remember is when im watching the tv and i can’t see the subtitles properly or when i try to see from far away lol)

(I took theater this year but I was too shy to actually act out anything, I plan going back my 11th year but I’m too scared XD)

“Yeaaaahthe reason I’m not that worried about him is because last time he harrased someone he got stabbed” he spoke nonchalantly as he opened the doors to the building, his apartment was on the 3rd floor so they could just take the elevators

We got out of the elevator and outside of the apartment, when I opened the door it revealed a small apartment, the kitchen and living room were basically one, I had only one room and one bathroom “Tadaaaa, here’s the house you wanted to see, it isn’t much but it’s nice”
(You know those houses where the kitchen and living room are combined together and they don’t have like a door to separate them?)
Alastor looked around. “It’s quite small…. Where are your glasses?”
//A studio apartment? Or like…. My house has a doorway splitting then but not a door
“In my room, I’ll go get them” he walked to his drawer and pulled out a pair of glasses, they were a mix of black and dark green green
(YES! I definitely didn’t search up what a studio apartment was but it’s that! Omg I thought studio apartments were big so one could paintAlso I realized I used “I” thinking it was “he” and I think I should stop multitasking)
To Alastor (and me,,,,), the dark green looks almost orange.

Oh for real? That’s crazy, so like when you’re driving how does the traffic light look like to you? And how do you know if you’re clothes match or not? (Don’t ask why those were the first things that came to my mind)
