her whole personality seems like a very upbeat and childish front, which i don’t want to totally discredit and call fake bc i don’t think that’s the whole truth, but i think smth else is going on w her, and i’m curious to see how it plays out. i don’t rlly have any specific theories tho. we also see her younger sister mentioned a lot + the fact that they both take baths together so i’m curious just how old her sister is, and what nonoka’s family relationships are like

it’s shown that she has a Lot of intense emotions that fluctuate frequently, which ik isn’t the only symptom, but it is a key point and it’s very prominent in her + (spoilers for ep4) but her response to ritsu seemed very impulsive and like different to how she responded to her other times which could be due to her unstable emotions, and her decision to not sing was p impulsive and drastic for the situation

i also do think she has autism (bc of her infodumps/hyperfixations + lack of social awareness/knowledge of cues + she stims), which could also impact her bpd ? (not sure how exactly they may intersect) but i think maybe conversations not going the way she thought (bc of her autism) would heavily impact her emotional state leading to different reactions (like w ristu’s apology) + she may have already been in a worse mood swing before which impacted her response (since we see her eyes look very upset?/not as energetic/happy as they did when she ran into ritsu those other times and she rambled until she left)

her words in response are also very strange, she goes from saying “i don’t understand you’re saying” to then immediately saying “i knew it”, which coukd be like two parts of herself struggling to understand the idea of ritsu knowing what she did was wrong/knowing “all of it” which could mean the truth behind those clips ? idk, so like arale maybe was going back and forth between giving ritsu the benefit of the doubt and then not, idk. and then her saying “i’m sorry. i’m scared” maybe that’s a reference to her knowing abt viola’s possessive nature ? maybe she bats ritsu away bc she thinks(or knows) viola is watching so she doesn’t want her to try and harm arale again so she pushes ritsu away instead ? idk this went very off topic but whatever
