• your relationship with yelena was a definition of going back and fourth; at first you started dating when you still worked as an assassin and she was on the mission to free other widows.

• you broke up, yelena went into a deep depressive episode (also got blipped) and she ran back to you, when you managed to escape the route of being a payed killer and got a job in shield.

• the second breakup was way messier based mostly on yelena being too reckless on val's missions for your liking, having to stitch her up every other day, when you promised yourself you're done with your past and that lifestyle.

• third time is a charm and this time when you got back together she was in thunderbolts or more new avengers, that managed to convince yelena to go and apologize to you, since she very clearly was not over you in any way.

• so it was working now, valentina tried to recurite and buy you from shield multiple times after discovering your famous assassin alter ego that you abandoned but you never let her win.

• that although, didn't mean you weren't an often visitor and sparring partner in the tower or that you didn't help yelena in her missions.

• at some point, you realized that not being a payed killer doesn't mean your abilities are useless now, solving simple issues and fights around the city when yelena was taking care of big potatoes became your thing.

• and that's how you offered yourself to help spiderman with the mind controlling issue going on after walking on his converstion in yelena's office.

• for the record, you loved the sauna. never really got why everyone has to step in when they talk to your girlfriend but honestly? why would you care, at the end they weren't the one fucking her in that pool.

• spiderman definitely understimated your abilites cause he probably would be fucked if not you (and frank).

• unfortunately, neither of you were superhumans so with your new found friend, you left spiderman with hulk and went for the crazy teenage girl that decided to mind control you the second her eyes landed on you.

• your past was fucked. you hated and dreaded every memory that you had (which wasn't many). and somehow that became handy when you got so angry of her making you relive it that you kicked her out, physically and mentally.

• but life can't be so positive all the time, she went for frank before you realized it and before peter shot his gun out of his hand. you were thrown across the room in seconds, punisher grabbing the closest piece of wall and smashing it into your arm.

• the brick worked like a knife, stabbing deep into your body and of course he pulled it out before jean left his brain thanks to the spiderdude (you're never helping him again).

• frank wasn't the best with apologies and empathy but he drove you all the way to the tower when you were actively bleeding out of the stab wound.

• he did though, get visibly scared for his life when you told him that yelena belova, black widow is your girlfriend.

• the thunderbolts were pissed. frank carried you all the way up to the common room and half of the team almost had a heart attack seeing the amount of blood over your body.

• yelena was convinced it would go wrong the second hulk appeared on the news and she realized that you are there. human. with guns and paralisators. and nothing else.

• she attacked frank verbally, before you brought her down to earth saying "i'm gonna need a blood transfusion if you keep yelling at him". frank never felt more grateful.

• convincing her that he didn't mean it and that it was the mind-controlling girl and that he really does not deserve to be slaughtered and ripped in half by ava was hard but somehow she believed you, maybe because you were grinding your teeth while being stitched and probably paler than the white walls.

• oh and frank got kicked out by walker. literally kicked out. you are honestly sad you didn't witness this.
