basicallyyyy the idea is once fused tenna basically pretends he doesnt exist anymore, at most being like a subconscious thought in mtts head. somehow mettaton ends up in a dark world (post game castle town? ghost house dark world? you decide !), meets spamton and is immediately INTO that little freak.
i like the idea he loves how bold and confident and Loud spamton is an even finds his puppet appearance cute ? so he tries courting him. spamton is torn bcs hes being hit on by what he believes is his exhusbands possessed corpse, but also like.... a) hes also Not Over It, and b) he likes hanging out with mettaton, its been a very long time since spams has had another adult around that Doesnt Take Shit n also enjoys his company
all the while this is happening tenna is screaming from his cuck mind palace. on the one hand, he doesnt want to give up Being someone important - i mean, with mettaton, hes basically a lightner ! he finally gets to go outside And serve his purpose ! this is everyting hes ever wanted !!
on the other. this guy keeps trying to kiss his husband.
i do think at some point tenna slips and (for lack of a better term) takes over the body, presumably to stop his new bodyfriend and ex from kissing or something. spamtons PISSED bcs hes convinced tenna was playing him/messing w his feelings on purpose, tennas mad bcs hes still not over spamton leaving. im torn between mettaton loving the drama Or him becoming super defensive over spamton, leaving both of them a little bit flustered.
