Mets Die Hard

We are moving forward and into the future! We did not go back and time to 2006 and we will not lose like in 2000! I believe the Mets will win!

So it's been some time since I have posted and to be honest I have been so busy and a little scared! Even up 3-0 there was a fear of collapse or injury. We have been let down before. This team is something special and I am beyond excited. I have shed tears of joy and am not afraid to say it.

Cespedes had another magical night including a bomb of a home run giving him his 100th RBI of the year! The mets have now taken an 8.5 game lead ahead of the Washington Nationals. As we begin to get into the maybe no Harvey time of year, I feel confident with this man leading the offense, Granderson leading off, David Wright the captain back at 3rd and Duda back on first! The bench is deep the 8th and 9th inning have been locking up with Clippard and Familia! Can't wait for October lets go Mets!

There seems to be nothing that can stop this team! Matt Harvey lets us down after embarrassing us with his BS and Gives up 7 runs but we come back form 7-1 to win 8-7. Our time is now!

Mets lineup today against the nations in the most important series of the season! This afternoon as the nation celebrates the hard working people we Mets fans will be in edge as game one begins at 1:10pm. It looks like Duda will be back with the team but not starting so I assume he will be available off the bench. I'd like to see Kelly Johnson step up today and come they big! We need to take this game!!!!!

So I guess Harvey will pitch till 180 the. Shut down till playoffs. Can the Mets still win the division with the narrowing 5 game lead? The next 3 games against Washington will get us closer to that answer.

Having David Wright back has made this August end even more special. The Mets take the opening game at home from the recently swept Phillies! Only 3 runs to 1 but they came from home runs by Michael Conforto who continues to show us he deserves to be in the big leagues and Curtis Granderson. Bartolo Colon pitched one hell of a game with some questionable strikes from behind the plate. Familia scared is all by walking 3 batters in the 9th. A nice double play and a strike out later her only gave up one game and we took the win!

Mets sweep the Phillies tonight in another epic battle! This team is never to far down anymore. It used to be the joke that you only need 1 run to win against the Mets but that not the case anymore. The best part is we have officially assembled the avengers! There is never just one hero. Every night someone else steps up. Tonight Carlos Torres was clutch and I complain about him all the time. He pitched lights out and even had a hit and a run. He is fast and Daniel Murphy drives in the go ahead runs and the mets win in 13 inning 9-5. Kelly Johnson also had the tie run driven in with his home run tonight and Travis d'arnaud also hit a bomb in Gary Carter style. Captain America AKA David Wright has stepped back into his role as the leader of the team with his co pilot Curtis Granderson. Grandy has been the Mets MVP this season in my eyes and I never thought I could love an ex Yankee this much!

Bartman comes thru in philly ! Mets win!!!!!!
