The question being has always been “Are you entertained?” while watching any kinds of shows/movies. I personally enjoyed watching the CGX drama very much, despite also loving the manhua, but I did understand that this was entirely subjective. I’m glad to see another manhua fan who enjoyed the drama as well! As long as we were entertained with the contents, whatever that others preferred didn’t matter imo.

Taking everything into consideration, I understood why the drama was made the way it was, but I also wanted to refer back to the original source to express my gratitude to Xia Da, hence these drawings. The last few weeks were hella fun watching 49 episodes of this masterpiece.

I had a clear image of what the drawing would look like the moment I read the fic’s summary, and I hope that I captured that one moment in the writing. Needless to say, you gotta read it to know what I’m saying *wink wink. The accompanying drawing was meant to look like illustrations in Japanese light novels (w/out colors, unfortunately).
