Ok, so first Sukka is one of the best ships in atla, I stand behind you at that and I also quite dislike the second ship. BUT Zuko is a million times better then Katara. She is an ignorant little waterbender from episode 1 till the very end and Zuko is simply amazing. His character ark, his beginnings, his redemption arc. Mwah, chef kiss. And did Katara bring us a character as universely beloved as Uncle Iroh? No? Well point for Zuko.

I think they're all equally great in their own way, tbh. Not one is better than the other: They all have flaws and the only thing that would make one of them even remotely close to 'greater than' the others, would be how much a person watching the show could relate to them.

I don't dislike Katara, but I know irl she'd intimidate me and I'd rather not wanna talk to her, lol. 'Cause she's really passionate---and while that's not exactly a bad thing---it sure helps her hold a grudge and ohmyAgniTuiandLa I'd really rather not risk being on the receiving end of that.

I can't get over the fact she literally gave Zuko a direct death threat, it scares me alrkqlrklawl

damn tho. I don't really like Jason but the way he died was noble and just very Jason. that whole scene with the yachts was just horrifying. piper getting hurt so badly, meg being unable to do anything, apollo fucking stabbing himself and then Jason sacrificing himself for piper. I'm sad. it hurt. poor piper.

ANd yeah, agrEed! The whole scene in general hit hard, and even though I didn't care much about Jason either, it was really sad seeing how his death affected everyone else! D:

if you could, would you undo the entire trials of apollo series, if it meant undoing jason's death, but also solangelo being canon?

I love Apollo's character too much, I love his character development too much. I relate to him too much. Even if Solangelo wasn't on the table of being undone, I still would never undo ToA just to keep Jason alive.

One or two well-known characters have to die at some, otherwise the danger in Uncle Rick's series will falter, considering we'll be 100% sure that every character has a thick layer of plot armor and simply will never be killed. That, and I never really vibed with Jason anyways. He was okay in my opinion---not a bad character at all---I'm just not personally sad to see him go.
