1. What do you like most about the character Otabek Altin?

First of all i am very weak for Yoshimasa Hosoya so just hearing Otabek made him my fav. But what i really like about his character is that before we actually met him he was mentioned as a competitor, a strong mysterious character and we were all so curious about him and didn’t really know what to expect! And what i didn’t anticipate what that he was going to be introduced via Yuri and his character development, and it was surprising because he wasn’t a threat anymore, he was a friend!! Then we saw him skate in the final and yeah boy is strong. I can’t wait to see and learn more about him!! I love his fierce and mysterious personality, and i can’t deny i also love him for his looks ‘cause he is hella good looking.

2. What’s the appeal of them as the ship Otayuri?

They have this balance i absolutely love in couple omg, i love that they have very different personalities but they complete each other so perfectly. I love that they’re still young so we can imagine them evolving and maturing together, and them being young is a gold mine for all the slowburn we love so much yas. I also have always been rooting for the side pairings in stories more than the main pairing, so as much as i love viktuuri, i was doomed to be a hardcore otayuri shipper… And if i draw them so much is because i absolutely love how they look together, i love their character design as a duo, they look like love itself.
