There’s still a scorching blush on his face as he looks down at the text. 

[Text]: Yeah. Yeah! Sure, it’s no problem... I’ll delete the picture from my phone too. No worries. 

That hurts...

Or if they just don’t talk to  you??

          On one hand, maybe it was better for Izuku to go. He came up here to avoid having to deal with anyone, after all. He was so frustrated, he figured it was better, rather running the risk he’d be testy. In this case, to be able to relax himself like this in peace, especially since he was running out of cigarettes. It would be a damn waste putting this one out now–

          “You don’t talk too much. It’s nice when ya do it.” –but then he couldn’t just make Midoriya leave hearing that now. That much was clear, with the familiar feeling now nagging at him. Kirishima shifted a bit, uneasily as he tried to put the words together,

          “If…you don’t mind the stench, you can stick around.” Tentatively, “I don’t mind the company. Just didn’t expect it. Lemme jus…I-I’ll put it out for ya.”

A crimson blush takes over the green hair teen’s face, a stutter escapes his lips as he tries to thank Eijiro for the compliment but it falls short as he’s so taken back. After a few moments, the blush fades and he sits next to his classmate. Not minding the smell of smoke or nicotine in the air. 

          “Ah–” It had been the door opening that immediately set a sick, twisting feeling right in his chest. Hardening rippled over his skin as he turned fast, hand instinctively pulling the cigarette from his mouth and out of sight. But then…it was Midoriya. Midoriya, not Aizawa or anybody else.

           Whatever words he’d been intent to voice, a sharp question or some hasty excuse, left him in an instant–

          “Err…yeah. It is.”

           –but he would play along all the same. Crap…he was glad it wasn’t anyone troublesome, but this was still a compromising situation–

           “You, uh…came up here fer some stargazing?” Alright, that was just a stupid question, there were still too many lights around for that-

His eyes dart up to the sky at the mention of stargazing but all that greets him there is a cloudy sky and the bright city lights. A shy smile tugs at his lips as his green eyes settle on the other teenager, taking a step closer to him. 

“Are you ok? I... I can go if you need space... And, I won’t tell anyone.” That was something he was used to after all, he never told anyone how deeply Katsuki’s words always cut him. 

“I like to sit out here and take notes... Uhhh...  It’s quiet... Peaceful... I’m an only child, it’s weird to be surrounded by people sometimes. My... My mom, she works two jobs, so...” 

Izuku began to tremble from his anger when the phone hit the ground. From the loud sound, he knew it was broken and his father had done it intentionally. Honestly, it was minor compared to everything else his father had done to him and his mother, but it was enough to make the urge to punch the guy that much stronger.

“Why?” he demanded sharply before he could stop himself. “If it wasn’t because of me not having a Quirk then why the hell did you leave?!”

Hisashi is fascinated by the energy that’s around his son, stepping toward him but keeping his distance, “I left because I was bored. Staying in one place too long gets one caught. I’m too good at my job to get caught. Nothing against your mother, she was a beauty in her time...”

A cruel smile comes across his lips, a puff of fire leaves his mouth as he speaks.
