Merry Days

I am so proud to work in a ministry that gives accurate Biblical resources to pastors and their congregations all over the world.  This is a great resource for people who struggle to “do it right” the six days a week they are not at church.  

I went to school with the author of this song.  True story.  I do not remember him because he was younger than me but he and I went to the same pep rallies, the same football games and ate in the same cafeteria.  Our high school experiences were so different and this song is a result of what was happening with his dad during those times.  

I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. Philippians 4:17   

Mark 1:17 “Follow me and I will make you become fishers of men.”.

18 As Jesus was walking beside the Sea of Galilee, he saw two brothers, Simon called Peter and his brother Andrew. They were casting a net into the lake, for they were fishermen. 19 “Come, follow me,” Jesus said, “and I will send you out to fish for people.” 20 At once they left their nets and followed him. 21 Going on from there, he saw two other brothers, James son of Zebedee and his brother John. They were in a boat with their father Zebedee, preparing their nets. Jesus called them, 22 and immediately they left the boat and their father and followed him.

This is where I am learning about myself and God.  What started out as a work thing, has ended up being one of the best things I have ever done for my personal life.
