George Floyd was murdered by Derek Chauvin

Its been found that they worked together, the bar owner that they both worked for as security guards was interviewed by a news team reporting Chauvin was often aggressive and would mace people often. So George Floyd and Chauvin knew each other. This could make his murder be considered pre meditated.

George Floyd’s reason for arrest was that he made a fraud check, when it was a $20 bill that was indeed legitimate. Yes all of this was over what was suspected as a fake $20 bill.

Minneapolis Police Dept. tried to say that George Floyd resisted arrest which has been proven false.

And to the peaceful protests that have been taking place the protesters have been peaceful until the police have shown aggression by throwing tear gas, spraying protestors with pepper spray, and shooting them with rubber bullets.

Many of the medics at the major city protests have been hit with tear gas while attending to the wounded which is in fact a war crime.

There has been several videos and images surfacing of police vandalizing stores and cars, setting cars as props to set ablaze, breaking windows. As well as placing bricks hoping to incite violence.

White supremacists have been noticed posing as protestors to incite violence and give the police a reason to retaliate. These white supremacists have been wearing black wristbands and white arm bands so they can identify eachother.

And as for the newest thing I’ve been following, the dc protests have had a complete blackout where all lines were jammed and there were no media updates for over 6 hrs. Where people’s twitter accounts were taken over by bots all saying they were fine and the blackout was a hoax. One local man housed 150 protestors in his home from being arrested from a new curfew order put in place.

“Originally this was a college project. We were to choose a current or past event / article and create a narrative piece from it. I chose the “Natural Hair Ban of Pretoria High” that unfolded back in 2016. I created a set of 6 paintings that depict black cultural and natural hairstyles worn by black people all over the world. The black women here are seen rejoicing in their hair, through expressions of pride, joy and love. Its a direct juxtaposed response to the ban on hair and made to encourage black people all over the world who are discriminated against because of their hair”
