Introduction/About my Blog:

My name is Waverly, and I'm a mermaid! I'm originally from another planet, in a galaxy many light-years away. My planet or home, as I call it, is named Marisphera. It's essentially a giant water planet with no landmass, only endless stretches of ocean. I live among other merfolk, who call Merisphera home. Beneath the waves are coral reefs and marine creatures of all types. Our cities blend in with the beauty of the ocean, our homes made of coral and seashells. City centers thriving with life.

I'm unsure of how I came to Earth in a human body. There's some theories regarding magic, spells, portals, etc. I don't know how to return back to my home planet but I really miss it.

I have a few close friends from back home that I'm still able to interact with, and they tend to visit. Almost like they are spectating me here on Earth. They can not interact with humans like I can, but they can interact with me.

This blog is to talk about my experiences as being a mermaid, being in a human body, and my interactions with my merfriends from back home.

My name is Waverly, and I am a mermaid living in a human body. I was transported from my home planet, Marisphera. My human body is diagnosed with schizoaffective disorder.

I am not an OC, roleplay account, or anything like that.

I am a real person and a real mermaid.

The Planet Marisphera!

I wanted to kind of depict the overall vibe and aesthetic of my world.

I kind of touched up on a bit in my intro post but it's essentially covered in water/oceans.

There is land but it's more of Island size, no continents.

We do have lots of coral reefs and sea creatures, schools of fish, turtles, sharks, dolphins, you name it! The ocean is pretty deep, but due to the lack of humans us mermaids are allowed to live near the surface.

We do have underwater cities and homes! We make them out of coral, algae, seashells, etc.

We do have underwater mountains that plunge deep within the water.

The sky is filled with the sun, moon, and stars.

Covey!

Covey one of my yougest friends has always had a love for adventure. He is curious and always interested in the unknown. His favorite pastime is exploring everything. His scales are an aquamarine blue with swirling waves and sea creatures that dance across his tail. His eyes are a bright sea green, a reflection of his boundless energy and enthusiasm for life underwater.

Kairos!

Kairos is a merman! He is wise and mysterious, holding ancient wisdom. His scales are a deep indigo blue, with streaks of silver and gold. His tail is detailed with patterns of stars and constellations, reflecting his connection to the cosmos. His silver eyes hold the secrets of the universe. Kairos has a deep understanding of the cosmos. He's grown up with the weight of the universe on his shoulders.

Sirena!

Sirena is enchanting with a captivating beauty beyond compare. Her tail shimmers with every movement, glowing in the moonlight. Her eyes are a deep sapphire blue, filled with mischief and charm. She has a talent for the arts and music. Her voice seemingly puts a spell on all who are blessed to hear it, haunting melodies. Despite her gift, she has a love for her people and her world and often uses her talents for the greater good. Although she isn't afraid to hold a grudge and punish those who wrong her.

Delphina!

She is such a fierce gal, her presence commanding the attention wherever she goes. Her piercing seafoam green eyes reflect her strength and determination. She is the daughter of a powerful warrior and takes much pride in that. She is loyal to her people. Despite her strong sense of duty, she has a kind heart and a deep love for the ocean. What sets her most apart is her bond and deep connection with the creatures of the sea.

Nixie!

Nixie is a child at heart. She is playful and always loves an adventure. She is a guardian of the coral reefs. The reefs are as vibrant as her soul. She makes it her purpose to care for and nurture them. Despite being playful and having a child-like demeanor, she takes her protector role very seriously. Her dedication to reviving and protecting the fragile ecosystem earn her the respect of others.

She is a chaotic, free soul and a fierce protector.

Mira is the youngest daughter of a well-known healer. She has inherited her mother's gifts for healing. Ever since she was young, she's always shown a natural talent for the medicinal arts. She's always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need. Mira uses the medicinal properties of underwater flora to ensuring the health and well-being of her community.

Nerissa!

She is one confident mermaid, but she carries herself with grace. Her tail beautiful shades of pearls and pinks. She is known for her wisdom, and many people seek her out for her guidance and insight. Merfolk from all over Merisphera come to her knowing that she is thoughtful and compassionate. Nerissa is often a busy gal. She inherites her wisdom from her ancestors. She spends a lot of her time at her favorite place, an underwater library in her region known as the Grotto of Enlightenment. Despite her wisdom and beauty she puts a lot or effort into ensuring that she remains humble and approachable. She believes that true wisdom lies not just in knowledge, but in understanding and empathy.

Mariselle is a royal! Mariselle comes from an ancient line of royal blood, Marisphera's very first ruler Oceanus. She takes a lot of pride in this, bearing the responsibility of upholding traditions and values of her noble lineage. Mariselle hones in the ancient powers of the sea. Her melodic voice could calm the fiercest of storms and soothe the troubled hearts of her fellow merfolk. Her tail, holding the deepest of blues.
