DO NOT CALL THE REGULAR POLICE.

If ice wants access to someone on your property, do NOT hand them over unless you are shown a warrant signed by a judge! Make as much noise as you can to attract bystanders - it was the fact that a crowd gathered and started yelling at them that made ice leave in the video. And DO NOT expect the regular police to help you - they are just another arm of the state and will only do or say whatever they think is necessary to make you comply.

oh that one’s a bit of a long story, actually. I sometimes make playlists to help with inspiration when I write, or to set the mood of a big project. “the hero’s bride” was the name of a story I was writing with the intention of pitching it as a graphic novel (didn’t happen but it was good practice).

the story was about the childhood friend/sweetheart of an RPG hero who welcomes him home after his long journey, and he proposes to her- only for her to find out he had recently already proposed to a girl he met on his adventures, and that she turned him down. so she (the childhood friend) decides to retrace the steps of the hero and track down this other mysterious girl in order to figure out what really happened between them.

it was several years ago I made all this. I think I was holding myself back by being too rigid and trying to make everything suitably “cliche at first glance” instead of just letting myself get more creative. it’s pretty hard to write within the framework of a video game setting and story when you’re not actually making a video game. I would like to recycle some of these designs and concepts if possible though!
