This past three weeks I have dealt with prejudice white Professors who is willing to harass his students. Aggressive white cis males that are also students in my school. I have dealt with my experience of a first generation being put down, my words invalidated, exhibited like an object to expose. I have talked to the President of @lesleyuniversity and three deans to fix this disgraceful display of academia. My fight isn't over. The fight to be respected as a HISPANIC female will never be over. After leaving the Office of a dean of this university because of his blatant disrespect I came home feeling anxious, depressed, angry. I got out of my Uber and saw what I would say was like finding the golden ticket in Willy winks. I ran to me mailbox to pull out the package knowing I had just received @priscadorcas inspiring work. Girl I fuckig cried reading Dear Woke Brown Girl. But I also smiled, and felt like my strength had been regained. Your words your experience have touched me since we met in Boston University. You are truly an inspiration for me to continue to fight against this racial injustice in academia, in the world. So thank you for this wonderful package, and thank you for reminding me that I will continue my art in no matter what anyone says.
