After the events of the Metal Virus, it shouldāve gotten better. And it does, briefly ā with a party celebrating its extinction, they have their world back, their livelihood back, and more importantly, Sonic. But as Amyās come to learn, itās never as easy as it seems with him.
As the dust settles at Restoration HQ, the cracks begin to show. When she starts to pick up on the lasting effects of constantly burning off the virus, Amy offers to help care for Sonicās quills and nurse them back to health. After all heās done for them, itās the least she can do. The role reversal is a change of pace, but one she takes to heart. And as they gather in her kitchen, as she tends to his sick quills, little does he know, itās the most sheās ever felt in his shoes.
