And Kyo kept his old clothes from his five stars days. He really felt like an old veteran putting on that old uniform.

It's definitely a visual tell to the audience that the character is a five star but considering that it doesn't show on Kyo anymore at the start of the series and didn't show on Klay before he joined the five stars there's a good chance that the colored rings around their eyes hold some sort of plot significance.

ANYWAY I can see the possible relation to Tomoro and Asuka even more now. The protag genes came from him :DDDD. I take back every antagonistic thing I said about you. Look at that smile, that smile can do no wrong. He's even wearing the glasses in the same place as the protag goggles, yes ik it's a common area to wear glasses at, but still I'm biased.

I miss digigoggles.

Tasuku is doomed. Assassination hit, probably was the method, maybe even the first five star group takeout. Maybe even Kyo was responsible in someway.

What if Asuka is to Kyo what Hitomi is to Tomoro now.

Not just a civilian bystander but more of a human informant, someone who is in the know of digimon but not too deep into their dirty secrets to get cold hearted on the spot.

[Think in the middle between Maki and Hitomi in terms of Digimon involvement. Like the area Haruomi lives in now, They know about Digimon but don’t really deal with the World Union, like issuing bounties]

I wouldn’t be surprised if the backstory behind Kyo and Asuka was similar to that of Hitomi and Tomoro. Kyo saving Asuka from being cold hearted and with them staying in touch after the bounty was finished, Asuka staying close to Kyo as his link the Ministry to find out what happened to his parents and why they were arrested. And Kyo trying to push off the random guy who keeps running into him “accidentally”

I also like the theory that Asuka is part of the reason Kyo left the Five Star to make the Glowing Dawn. Asuka helps Kyo see the corruption and manipulation the World Union was using against him, so he rebelled and then left.

But I suspect that there was a falling out between them because Kyo states that Asuka contacted him out of the blue to tell him to look after Tomoro in episode 2 he also calls him an old friend in that same episode.

I think Asuka knew too much, not about digimon but the shady dealings surrounding them by the start of the series.

Ancient people with iron deficiency nomming on literally anything with blood in it, if it looked red and was edible it was getting used to nourish the blood. Those people would've LOVED iron gummies.

Source? Going into the vitamin aisle in the modern day and seeing all the iron gummies GONE.
