Over the past couple of months I’ve kind of realized I don’t have the time or energy to really sink my teeth into what I used to love & enjoy. Altair is, & always will be, my favorite character, & I will always love him no matter what.

I’ve been a part of this RP community for almost five years now, can you believe that? I’ve seen the fandom grow & develop & change, just as it has seen me do the same. Assassin’s Creed is important to me, this community is important to me… but I don’t have the energy or patience to appreciate it anymore. & honestly, I feel so disconnected that I don’t believe I’m even relevant anymore, no one really cares about Murphy. I like to believe I have been a pillar of this community but, things & times change & people move on & the good times become the gold old days. I feel like an elder.

But, my point is, Altair is my baby, he always will be. This blog has been a concrete part of my life for five years, as has this community. It’s important to me, a part of me, & all I can think to do is linger within it for awhile. But, I’m moving to a new blog with new rules & new stuff & a new shade of color, a fresh coat of paint. & I’d like to share that with you, if you’ll let me. This is the definitive edition of me, & I’m offering it up in hopes to get back the peace I have known in the past.

I know I’m an ancient, & I know I’m not around a lot, but I’m going to try to reignite the flame I know is still in me, in Altair, somewhere.
