Character B is an academic beast who is barely surviving the semester on their scholarship and is carrying parental pressure to succeed no matter what.

going from never not spending one minute of their free time together to being apart for years at a time 

quietly viewing their socials 

the awkward first encounter after many years

not to mention their family absolutely adores you

the sensation of lingering eyes whenever you’re at the same place together

finding excuses to talk even meant rediscovering you all over again
