My freedom is hateless as I walk this path fingers pointing to the moon Kings speaking of the mountaintop my liberation, my awakening, my enlightenment Is known it is the act of walking.

My genes express resilience so deep It destroys all forms of oppression gradually As I walk this path of freedom I am hateless

The ones that claim superiority are also animals Hijacked by evolutions traps Acquiring themselves further ugly And ignorance with so much to atone for 
I wait not for their liberation I wait not till my oppressor Is free from their worldspace of hate and shielding

I know my own freedom
though not in it’s purity

Even with the threat of annihilation I walk this path freedom which is hateless Which stands on the shoulders of greatness Greatness continues through me

At the end of this path is a new one Some one may one day walk it

Freedom assertions earned over years of patience Survival, struggle, failure, pain, grief, and self sabotage and all other forms of playing it safe And dangerous

This freedom which is hateless has not seen the mountaintop has not experienced the mountaintop But is instead climbing the summit. The path appearing as we walk it It’s potentialities dormant Blipping in out of existence according to our rthymns

Whether I make it or not is this worlds loss the absence of my freedom is this worlds loss In this land of never fully freed Racism has always been inferior as has their conceit, their defense mechanisms, buried so deep Their cognitive dissonance Lay rest on their ancestors altars Which seemingly only the most racist keep

As those who came before us have pointed towards the moon and the mountaintop 
I do not ask for your permission to exist, to be perceived as human, to be given rights, to be seen with eyes free of your dehumanizing associations I already have lived this humble life in the full presence of all that it is to be.

I do not ask for your rights, but I do fight for them In the assertion of my life I have already displayed them Even while broken by this worlds, and this country’s performance of humanity And my own survival strategies

I am already free and always have been, though this is only one side of the paradox.
on the other side Freedom from brutality is unseen, unknown and unfelt.

Even if I die by the gun And he who holds that gun dies of natural causes Acquitted and protected by the safest words a murderer ever knew
“I feared for my life” 

If I am to die this way, know these words.
This worlds conditioning, pain and trauma can be overcome. There is a path which can overcome it. These sufferings can cease for all of us.
Freedom can be boundless. The summit can be climbed, the moon can be seen, known and shining.
