Okay, I have made it a goal to read the Attack on Titan Manga in Japanese. I read the entire thing in English in 1.2 weeks and then went down the rabbit hole of translations and source material and how much I adore the ambiguity of Japanese and how translating it can take away all the "potential" interpretations.

Ey, I’m having a pretty nice time reading chapter 6 as I preview for vocabulary I don’t know. Still doing chapter 3’s vocab but I’m trying to stay far ahead so I don’t get overwhelmed at work and run out of new vocabulary.

Day 36! Grammar lesson was on the many uses of ところ and how it can mean like... 紅茶を飲んでいるところだ。I am drinking tea now (as if I there's a reason I am not doing something. I am in the "place of drinking tea."

Day 33. Lost power. Got it back for now. We shall continue. During the outage I did fully re-read chapter 2 and understood it SO MUCH MORE.

Gotta do Chapter 3's vocabulary. Will update later. Gotta go to work.
I have just learned Japanese Fractions. Wow. ３０分の１ is 1/30. Cool.
Day 34. Dealing with some stressful things, but we did today's stuff.
The lesson today was on how to break apart complex clauses.

I do like how when Eren talks about them living long and happy lives it looks like eventually Levi and Hange did end up hanging out during the meal either before or after beating Jean and Eren up haha. It’s the jacket man.
Their bond is such a quiet representation of care. All the warm fuzzies. It’s not overt all the time. But it’s always there.
