AAAAniway...

While i was busy ruining my life with Silksong i started thinking of new ways to bring myself closer to hell, so i came up with a brilliant idea: AN IMPOSSIBLE PROJECT aka SILKSONG SKINS.

Now i know what your thinking, it's not that impossible. There's juuuust a little problem, I'm just a dumb dumb who draws sometimes and that's all. No talent whatsoever with PC stuff.

BUTT - that will not stop me from brainstorming and sketching some ideas (maybe one day a good Samaritan will be moved by my project making it a reality)

And so it begins.

Hello hello 💜 it is I, presenting to you fried photos of my VERY rough sketches.

Heavily inspired by butterflies and with the help of the dress from Thumbelina (1994)

This dress is acquired after defeating Trobbio, and of course it gets purple after defeating Tormented Trobbio. (I was thinking that since baby Hornet sewed her dress she could have a little sewing kit with her, allowing to put the dresses on) (OR MAYBE SHE COULD BE INSPIRED AND SEW THEM HERSELF SO I DON'T HAVE TO MAKE MY LIFE MORE MISERABLE). ✍️✍️✍️✍️

No these are not the final names, they're used for convenience.

Let's talk about them! (can't wait to type sooooo much)

The first one i designed was the Mount Fay inspired dress (in another page), here it's rushed because i wanted to see it next to the other ones. I took inspiration from those really expensive looking fur coats/dresses, some of them even have tails dangling in the back (wtf is wrong with people?) and since i wanted to include the tails from the Fayforn it was kinda a perfect match. Obviously acquired after meeting the birb.

⚠️NO FAYFORN WAS HARMED IN THE MAKING OF THE DRESS⚠️

I have not much to say about the Penitent, i dig it, it's not that creative but i really like how cool and edgy it feels, with Hornet peeking through. Could be acquired after being captured (at the end of her killing spree) or after talking to the Old Penitent.

The Nyleth one looks like a punishment, i know. And it doesn't makes sense if we'll go with the idea of Hornet making her own dresses BUT it's too funny. I love the idea of ​​a warrior getting crushed in a fancy dress. Acquired after defeating Nyleth.

CALM DOWN I KNOW IT'S A 1:1 KARMELITA DRESS. It was simply too iconic not to put it on Hornet. To reedem myself i explored with the accessories, the scarf it's from Karmelita's antennae and the mask is inspired by all the enemies from Hunter's Path, i wanted a Phantom of the opera feel. I really want this dress to be available after getting the Hunter Memento, since it's lowkey gorgeous and it makes sense.

The Pilgrim, the first one you'll get. Very simple, i wanted to do much more with the beads but i couldn't come up with anything so for now it's that. You'll get this dress after talking with Sherma, maybe she'll inspire you to be more like a Pilgrim and less like a Semi-Goddess.

Here comes the ugly duckling, the Citadel. The only thing i like about this design it's the fact that she's wearing a veil. I hate the shape, i wanted to include bells (like the ringing ones) but i can't come up with something clever. IT'S A DISASTER. Maybe i should just throw it away, i already have Trobbio from the Citadel.

YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND HOW MUCH I LOVE THE LACE LIKE HORNET. It's perfect to me, although it's giving a little bit of Pulcinella vibes. This one's acquired after defeating Lace in the Cradle.

The Architect it's the roughest of them all, i just wanted to put down the idea but it's gonna be more complex than that. This Hornet it's constructed by the Twelfth Architect so it's gonna resemble more the Corus guys. You'll need to buy this one but i don't know after how many purchases.

I just realized it's gonna be a pain in the 🍑 translating everything in English, i played the game in Italian and all the names doesn't even remotely recall the original ones (except a few) 🥀

Before i share my "brilliant" ideas ya'll need to understand I'm the biggest ignorant on modding, it's comparable to quantum physics for my little brain. So if the stuff I'm gonna blabber about it's going to seem a little ridiculous YOU KNOW WHY.
