The first 2 eps of Witch Hat Atelier aired today β¨ I was a fan of this manga way before arcane even began, and much of my immediate love for jayvik came from the similarities they shared with this story of a common child seeking magic, so an AU felt natural. cant wait to draw them more!
If you donβt know anything about this series: its β4 kids and a cottageβ at its MOST literal. Magic comes from rune patterns that must be studied. The main teacher is chronically ill and lives with his boy best friend. The author is invested in queer subtext & exploring disability! Watch the anime, read the manga, you wonβt regret it (its about time a better story takes over wizard AUs)
