Let’s break down the real myths behind Hell’s newest villain.

Before Season 2 Episode 5 of Hazbin Hotel, Emilute has always felt like this fun grumpy x sunshine ideologically enemies to friends to lovers crack ship.

And then this happened 🤣

Emily single-handedly restraining her girlfriend I mean colleague from starting a fight with Vox. Jokes aside, here we have in Lute someone who has very rigid beliefs about Heaven and Hell. Heaven is an infallible bastion of goodness while Hell is full of wicked sinner who deserve extermination.

When Emily finds out about the exterminations she finds it abhorrent and begins to question her sisters actions. Befriending Charlie and Vaggi a bond which has deepened in season 2.

In season 2 episode 7 we see these ideologies briefly clash in a brief argument scene. But wait I thought this was a shipping post? It is and I am getting to that.

We've seen the whole Adam/Eve/Lucifer/Lilith dynamic laid out in the broadest of strokes in season 1. History seems to be repeating itself with Charlie being the one with big dreams falling for a woman who questioned her purpose. Likewise I see Lute playing a similar role to Adam with a few twists. Lastly, Emily being like Eve.

I think Lute in S3 is going to continue to feel isolated. Heaven is being tainted by compassion for sinners in Lute's eyes. The cherry on top being Lute's codependency to Adam (even in death) and possibility that the exorcist lieutenant is comphet.

But Emilute......... Yk I get it. I see the vision. And if Adam doesn't somehow return I'd be pretty cool with Emily and Lute hitting it off 🥹
