Kyle Cooper - motion graphic
Kyle Cooper is an American designer born on July 13, 1962, known for creating title sequences for motion pictures. He graduated with an MFA in Graphic Design from Yale. He has directed over hundreds of title sequences and visual effects sequences including Mission: Impossible, Spider-Man, Twister, Se7en and the mummy. He had studied under Paul Rand who is the most famous graphic designer. He also works on video games and commercials, but he specializes in title sequences. Cooper believes that the title sequence is part of the film, therefore as important as the film. It is Kyle Cooper’s title sequence for American Horror Story: Freak Show released in 2014. Kyle Cooper is known for his hectic title sequences, which includes close-ups from various angles. The extreme close-ups of objects look scary and make the audience nervous which probably is Cooper’s intention. The typography used in the title sequence is decorated but it is just perfect for the classic and dark mood. Loud imagery and unexpected eerie jump cuts can be easily found in his works. Kyle Cooper’s title sequence is somewhat direct and appealing to audiences using film images.

Not anymore. I used to collect stickers and masking tape. then I stopped collecting since I moved. I also collected candles but I threw most of them away when I moved out.
Commercialism and the media have impacted on my work in many ways. I am a graphic designer, I will be playing a role in packaging and marketing by providing designs for label, poster or advertising materials. For graphic designers, it is important to know the design trends through the commercial and media.
1. My biggest challenges creating art is getting starting. I have inspiration and ideas, but it is always hard to begin the first step. The way I deal with them is writing memos whenever an idea comes up.
2.I don’t know. our idea of “success” is a moving target, and in that case, there is no true sense of arrival.
small group session #1
When thinking about crochet, what usually comes to mind is an old-fashioned grandmother crocheting something for her grandchildren. Our group decided to make something to break this kind of stereotype and to honor an old lady who attributes to public welfare and helps people. We will try to use different materials for crochet.
