                    arms  𝗐 𝗋 𝖺 𝗉  around  her  daughter’s  slim  waist  ,  pulling  her  in  𝖼 𝗅 𝗈 𝗌 𝖾 𝗅 𝗒  as  a  pale  hand  runs  through  𝗌 𝗈 𝖿 𝗍  raven  locks  .  ariel  knows  all  too  well  the  𝗌 𝗍 𝗋 𝗎 𝗀 𝗀 𝗅 𝖾  of  not  fitting  in  with  your  peers  ,  as  she  𝗈 𝖿 𝗍 𝖾 𝗇  felt  that  way  at  sixteen  when  she  was  the  only  one  in  her  family  who  𝗂 𝗇 𝖽 𝗎 𝗅 𝗀 𝖾 𝖽  in  fantasies  about  the  human  world  .  however  ,  she  knows  that  if  she  hadn’t  𝗋 𝖾 𝖻 𝖾 𝗅 𝖾 𝖽  against  her  father  ,  she  never  would’ve  met  eric  ,  and  melody  wouldn’t  be  here  today  .

                    in  a  way  ,  while  she  knows  her  father  had  the  𝖻 𝖾 𝗌 𝗍  𝗂 𝗇 𝗍 𝖾 𝗇 𝗍 𝗂 𝗈 𝗇 𝗌  for  her  (  after  all  ,  it  was  humans  who’d  𝗄 𝗂 𝗅 𝗅 𝖾 𝖽  her  mother  )  ,  she  also  knew  that  she  had  to  do  what  she  felt  was  𝗋 𝗂 𝗀 𝗁 𝗍  for  herself  .  sure  ,  there  were  a  few  (  okay  ,  𝖺  𝗅 𝗈 𝗍  )  of  bumps  in  the  road  ,  but  it  all  𝗐 𝗈 𝗋 𝗄 𝖾 𝖽  𝗈 𝗎 𝗍  in  the  end  .

                    words  are  said  𝗀 𝖾 𝗇 𝗍 𝗅 𝗒  ,  𝗌 𝗈 𝖿 𝗍 𝗅 𝗒  ,  both  in  order  not  to  wake  their  little  princess  and  to  make  sure  that  ariel  hears  him  𝖼 𝗅 𝖾 𝖺 𝗋 𝗅 𝗒  .

          “  you’re  her  mother  ,  you  spend  the  most  time  with  her  .  i’d  be  shocked  if  she  didn’t  know  who  you  are  .  but  she  does  ,  i  promise  .  ”
