Headcanons Merlin inhuman.

I find it funny that some characters know Merlin is a strange creature just by observing they.

For example, basic body functions that Merlin doesn't perform: they doesn't blink, they doesn't breathe, they doesn't have a heartbeat. Most people don't notice, but those who pay close attention to Merlin realize that they don't close their eyes unless they are sleeping, or leaning on Merlin just to notice that, despite the pleasant temperature of his body, Merlin's chest does not move.

And their eyes glow in the dark, it makes sense and would be very funny. Everyone is scared the first time they see it.

Book series for summer

I really need a good, approximatley 5 book long (or more) book series to just get completley obsessed and fixated on over the summer. I've unkowingly started a tradition for myself two years ago where I read a book series over the summer holidays. 3 years ago it was A Good Girl's Guide to Murder, 2 years ago was Percy Jackson and the Olympians (it literally changed my life), last year was Shatter Me series (I was blessed with Kenji and Nazeera). I still haven't recovered from Percy Jackson and the Olympians, I'm so attached to that series it's unhealthy. I LOVE fantasy books and would love to read a really good series with magic, found family, high fantasy. I don't really want the overused booktok tropes or plotline, in fact I HATE them. The book series can be popular or super niche, I just need to enjoy it. I'm open to series in other genres, especially mystery. No one better DARE recommend me powerless.

If you haven't already, I recommend The Chronicles of Narnia. A wonderful classic that, even though it's a children's book, is very enjoyable. I recommend reading it an hour before bed, As a children's book, it's easy to read and the books are short.

Grishaverse

These are multiple stories within the same world. We have a trilogy, Shadow and Bone, and two duologies, Sic of Crows and King of Scars (there are three more loose books). The first trilogy might be a little difficult to get through, mainly because of the protagonist, but the other books, the Six of Crows duology (because the other one hasn't been translated into my language yet), are much better, it's possible to see a clear evolution in the author's writing. The stories start to get darker, but the author has a good level of maturity in handling it.

The premise of a future where humanity has overcome death and there's a profession solely dedicated to killing people and preventing overpopulation is incredible to me.

The terror is built up very slowly, At one point I was yelling at the book, "HOW CAN'T YOU SEE THERE'S SOMETHING WRONG WITH THIS WOMAN?"

Imagine if Merlin hadn't died 20 years ago, or if, having died, they alter ego had emerged earlier.

For the people of Holistone, they are the owners of a tavern, with adorable hamster helpers and that dear waitress, a friend of the general, who is frequently visited by a red-haired sorceress and that soldier with a charmingly goofy grin.

The people of Savannah know they as a noble of mysterious origin, who walks around with then pet fox, a confidant of the queen who regularly visits the palace.

For the teachers and students of the Serene Lyceum, they are the ones who took on the introductory to magic classes from Merlin, who is always in the library, which is a safe place for any student who needs they help.

How history will change. I see Merlin would be the one to assist Orion and Gervan. They would speak to Orion when he began to doubt himself due to his half mauler. They would help Gervan, showing him that he shouldn't feel hatred and pity for himself, but rather use those feelings as fuel to show that he is strong, to prove him to himselve.
